    "We enjoyed it and staff generally helpful. Good value for money break, as we had an inclusive meal deal." (108857842)

    Good leisure centre. Good restaurant and good quality of food and cooking.

    Room was very scruffy, a bed side table missing, hardly anywhere to put clothes, taps in the very basic bath room missing their plastic tops, a shower that had it's workings missing which made it very difficult to change its operation from the bath taps. No mattress cover, though a new mattress.

    checking in procedure very efficient restaurant excellent

    room was noisy from the leisure centre, Checking out was problematic due to mix up with car keys.

    "I have raised these issues with the hotel as not only did it mean that I and other members of my party had an unbroken nights sleep there is a massive health and safety risk if the hotel are not aware of who is in the rooms in case of a fire. " (108530211)

    The receptionist did not make a note of who was in which room in our party, when one of our party arrived at 1.15am I was woken to be asked what room they should go in. As it was too late to call members of our party, the guest had to stay on the floor. I also booked 8 twin rooms, but the room I was in had 2 twin beds pushed together and one duvet so effectively a double - The hotel had confirmed earlier in the day that I wanted 8 twin rooms

    excellent customer care,parts of the hotel that had been refurbished were tasteful. Although we stayed in a part of the hotel that has yet to be updated, it was still very clean although very tired. Food was really good and lovely ambience during the evening.

    The only small point was that breakfast tables were not beig cleared very efficiently in between diners and an appalling choice of background music!!!!

    Very poor quality room, bathroom very tired and in need of remodernation. Furniture quality in room poor. Double room with only 1 bed side table. Wardrobe facilities very small.

    Restaurant was high point. Good, efficient service and very good food. Really good value.

    Decor is tired. Room was in need of decorating and updating. Poor furniture in bar - restaurant was comfortable.

    Booked direct on-line but found I could get much cheaper deals through other online booking agencies. saving as much as £30 per room per night.

    Hotel was clean and staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast good.

    We stayed whilst reparations were taking place, and there was much noise fom the radiators. We stayed 12 nights on our first stay and the room telephone didn't work. Then we stayed for another 12 nights when we returned from Sweden, and the new room we were allocated had the same problem - no working phone.

    our room was very hot the table we had booked for evening meal had been given away and we had to wait in the bar till another was available - over half an hour no lift so quite taxing carrying luggage to top floor

    It was clean and tidy.

    the food was just about warm. When leaving thety tried to charge me for a breakfast that we didnt have and there was no apolgies for there mistake which thought was a bit off.

    We were on a 'Real Deal' package which included breakfast, evening meal and wine and represented very good value. Staff were cheerful and the place had a nicely informal feel to it which was appropriate for a relaxed weekend away. Parking was plentiful and free, and it was possible to walk into Altrincham and get a tram to Manchester. Lots of restaurants nearby in Hale. Location is quiet, so you get an undisturbed nights sleep.

    Water for bath / shower was only ever luke warm (but we did get compensated for this).

    Staff reacted promptly to my request to change rooms

    My first room under the leisure club was cramped, smelly and had huge noise vibration from the bowling alley
