    "Wish we could have stayed longer- there was so much to see and not enough time to see it all in.." (108958896)

    The bathroom was small but clean. The bedroom comfortable. The breakfast was just right with a wide choice of cereals, fruit juices, pastries, fruits or a cooked Full English. Had interesting signed posters from the and photographs of various actors which felt right for where we were: Stratford. The Croft allowed you privacy to get on with your stay YOUR way, which nice.

    It was adequate in terms of cleanliness - I did at least feel the room was cleaned. WE stayed two nights and the room was cleaned again after the first night which I didn't expect in a B&B. Excellent access into stratford Fair breakfast menu offered

    - The staff member made me feel uneasy, that I was a pain being there and he had work to do. He wasn't overly friendly which is what you expect from a B&B. - My breakfast was rushed and plates taken from me as soon as I had literally finished eating. The room advertised on the internet was not the room we ended up with. The room decor was very dated and tatty in areas.

    Very helpful offering suggestions to get the best out of our stay. Informed room just about to be redecorated which will bring it up to excellent. Would be very happy to stay here again.

    No real bad points but coffee machine did not work well at breakfast but staff responded as soon as we mentioned it.

    Very pleasant staff, well presented lounge and dining room and good breakfast. Good location.

    The decor and carpets in the rooms were dated, the beds were uncomfortable and the stair and landing carpet were in poor repair. The toilet in the childrens room had been poorly cleaned with debris to the rear of the toilet seat.

    The room was clean and comfortable, staff welcoming and helpful. The hot tub in the garden area was a welcome and relaxing extra after long days walking around.

    Breakfast were excellent. Staff friendly and welcoming. TV good quality. Linen clean. Close to all local amenitites, a lovely area to visit.

    Hairdryer did not work. But a hand held was given to replace broken wall one. Room was quite small with little clothes storage space. No wardrobe to hang dresses. They had to be hung above electric kettle.

    The full English breakfast was excellent. We were allowed to leave our car parked on the premises after we had checked out in the morning, to collect it late afternoon after we had seen a matinee performance, which was very convenient for us.

    There was an accumulation of dirty fingermarks on the ensuite door; ditto on pull cord switch and wallpaper. The dressing table stool upholstered seat was stained and soiled. The room decor and furnishings were extremely dated. No shampoo or shower gel supplied. No full length mirror.

    We enjoyed the personal attention. The breakfast was very good and staff was courteous and friendly. They went out of their way to help us.

    Rooms were small and a bit warm. We could hear street noise, but could not close windows.

    Very clean, tidy, and well presented. Breakfast was good but would have liked either butter or olive spread, there was only margarine spread.

    Mattresses old but just about sleepable on. Decor old fashioned but comfortable. Had to phone the owner's mobile to ask for a taxi's telepone number.

    Friendly host, good breakfast, hot-tub very pleasant, large comfortable room, plenty of draws etc. Position very convenient for town, river, theatre & sights.

    Shower a bit tight to get in & out, TV reception not brilliant, no hairdryer in room.Small car parking area, quite difficult to get out of car when parked.

    Owner is very friendly and welcoming and pretty much leaves you to it. The breakfast is good consisting of a choice of cereal and fruit juices followed by a full English with toast and marmalade and tea/coffee. Very nice!

    Rooms a little tired with some peeling wallpaper. Our room had an en-suite bathroom but the hot water ran out when the bath was only a few inches deep! The dressing table/mirror were positioned in an area of the room where there were no wall sockets making it very difficult to use a hairdryer etc.

    It was warm and felt welcoming.
