    Mooi oud gebouw, mogelijkheid om bij het hotel te parkeren.

    Ze moeten het hotel wat opknappen. Een nieuw verfje, hier en daar een nieuw tapijt of andere vloer erin en het oogt al veel schoner en frisser. Personeel kwam wat vermoeid over. De straat waaraan het hotel ligt was extreem druk en lawaaierig. Daar kunnen ze echter niet veel aan doen.

    The bathroom sink and shower really need a good clean and descale. The gap between the wall and floor needs fixing.

    I use this hotel every December and whenever I have weekends in London. It is very clean and affordable and would recommend it in terms of cost.

    No-one available to allow us to check bagsin prior to formal check-in. Similarly, no-one around when formally checking in 6 hours later. Checked in at the end of the evening after returning from social evening. The loss of a cooked breakfast is disappointing but understandable.

    "There was nothing wrong with this hotel that couldn't be put right with a bit of general TLC. I wasn't expecting the Ritz for that price but a bit of kerb appeal and in particular bright and clean reception would have made it a better experience" (108802941)

    The room was clean with plenty of towels and tea/coffee but shabby. The breakfast good and plentiful.

    The hotels public rooms bore more than a passing resemblance to a run-down old peoples home. A coat of paint wouldn't have gone amiss throughout.

    The things that really matter were excellent - the bed was comfortable, bedding was clean, en-suite was clean, towels were clean, great to have drinking facilities. Breakfast was good - tinned grapefruit may be a welcome addition. Staff were all excellent and extremely attentive.

    A few light bulbs needed changing.

    the hotel is close to richmond town centre...and the price ok for lodon prices!

    ironing board was not collected from outside my room, also had to get it my self....only small thing but seemed lazy to me!

    Welcoming atmosphere,well situated with somewhere to park while visiting the sights.

    Very noisy being under the flightpath to Heathrow. We couldn't turn the radiator off in the bathroom(which was cramped) which meant we had to choose between it being too warm or too noisy with the window open.

    Building looks a bit shabby but the interior of the room was good. Bath VERY short given that I am only 5'6".

    Location. Bedding was clean. Staff were reasonably helpful but admitted the hotel was 'tired'

    The hotel was tired and not very clean. Shower would not operate without pliers to control water temperature - I have had better showers in the desert/outback than in this hotel. The room smelt musty and could have been cleaner and in a better state of repair. Breakfast - poor quality economy cornflakes.

    No lift. Poor room - old walls give rise to damp. Unable to turn off radiator in bathroom. Noise level from street very high. Single glazed windows. Security of room poor. Never judge the book by the cover.

    it was not well cleaned Tv wasn´t working toilet tap worked very slowly, it had to be mented heating was leaking and very noisy room in groundfloor with view into small patio

    Clean fairly quiet

    Bathroom very small - towell rail fell off wall. Shower rail held together with selotape. Toilet very close to door so if sitting on toilet you cant shut door. Pillows were very thin only one each and matress very hard.

    Clean room, REALLY comfortable bed, loved the dressing table with well placed mirror, TV/DVD player, friendly staff

    TV reception not great, shower not very powerful, room overlooked busy road but no net curtains.

    heating too high, shower was VERY poor. The hotel smelt awefull. Dirty, musty and years overdue for refurb. All for a whopping £50 when you can stay down the road in a lovely hotel for £60

    Close to tube and mainline station. Friendly staff. Free car parking. Competitive rates

    T.V did not work. Major refurbishment is due end of the year [planning permission just granted] Place needs a lot of work throughout.

    "We as a group stay with you around Christmas every year fro our boys get together. This year again proved very affordable clean and comfortable. Disappointed about being unable to access the hotel as we only had one key. We left the hotel in the morning and "went for breakfast" as we did not feel suitably nourished. Other than that, fine."     Clean, comfortable and affordable.

    Staff would not answer door at night. As only one key per room and as we got split up, I stood in the rain for an hour ringing the doorbell. Breakfast was poor in terms of choice. Cereal and toast, fine but group missed the option of a fried breakfast.

    There was wall paper coming off the walls, there was mold on the wall in the bedroom and in the bathroom. The room was horrid, and we had a dredfull stay.

    Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location for town centre.

    Bathroom radiator did not work and was very cold. The room obviously had problems with damp, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the ceiling was water stained in a number of places.

    Hotel is past its ell by date in decor. Looking tired. En suite was old too small, hot tap did not work, reported but nothing done.toilet leaked and aleays an unpleasant odour.

    Close to Richmond Station for travel to London and other amenities. Staff helpful and friendly.

    Unable to sleep due to the traffic and aircraft noise at night. This is beyond your control unfortunately as it seems the flight paths have changed. Never the less due to lack of sleep on the Thursday night I was not as alert as I needed to be on the Friday. Hairdryer did not work. Fortunately I took my own.
