    "Overall we were happy with the hotel and its reception staff. It was central for our needs." (108247632)

    The room was clean with adequate decor. Warm friendly reception. Breakfast was adequate with sufficent choice. We were offered a choice of room on arrival but since it was only for one night we stayed as we were. Dining room was clean.

    We had a room on the top floor with several flights of stairs to climb. This would have been tiring if we had to climb several times during the day.

    Extremely good value for money. Excellent position near riverside path, plenty of restaurants etc nearby. Clean, comfortable room. Friendly and very helpful staff

    - Very good staff particularly at the Reception and Management. - Good breakfast included in the price.

    - Very small rooms. This is the only point of concern otherwise a very fit for purpose hotel. Cannot do much about the room but certainly make it of better value by reducing the price a bit.

    The receptionist/manager was outstanding in her friendliness and helpfulness to us and in her efficiency at breakfast. The continental breakfast itself was the best we have had.

    Room was a bit small and quite noisy. Next time we would choose a riverside room.

    hotel staff were very grumpy generally, we fogot the key and it took us 45 minutes to get in after 11 (at 12pm) and were greated by a barrage of abuse. Not what you expect from a hotel in Richmond.

    "There was no lift, and we had to climb 51 stairs to our room. There was a lot of traffic noise all night, and we were disturbed by revellers leaving an adjacent night club in the early hours. The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly & helpful" (97002111)

    "I was actually looking for a hotel closer to Richmond University. I was greatly disappointed at first, when I realized that I had booked the wrong hotel. After staying at the Richmond Park Hotel, I realized that I am glad that I chose this hotel. Fate was on my son and my side. Great people, friendly and warm reception.     The people were fantastic. Dot, the receptionist was kind, courteous and extra helpful. Annie, the cleaning person was out of this world. Her kindness and understanding was greatly appreciated. I wish more people where I come from were as kind and friendly and welcoming as these people were.

    Nice and friendly personel (willing to help and surch for info in the internet)

    It was very hot on the day od arrival so mabey airco would have been nice and parking my car was a bit of a problem had to park about 15 minutes walk away from the hotel.

    "I was only there for two days and wasn't in the hotel much but what I saw was a clean, quiet hotel. I was there saturday and sunday night and wondered if the very popular bar next door would cause problems later. But since I wasnt there til after 2am anyway it didnt matter! No lift which would be good for some people but was no problem for me on the top floor. The room was clean, the bed was very comfy, the bathroom was clean and everything worked well. Overall my only complaint would be the lack of parking facilities which is a big feature of Richmond anyway. I advise you NOT to leave the car for 5 mins to check in...I did and got a ticket. At 10pm on a saturday. There is parkingon the hill that goes up opposite the hotel and from sat night to monday am is free. Other than that, very nice. Pricey but thats london for you!!" (2298305)

    Largest room I have ever stayed in while in London area.

    The heat was incredibly high. After turning it off and leaving the window open for hours, the room was still incredibly warm because heat was radiating from the room below me.
