    The manager was great.

    The hotel was awful, and hideously expensive. More like a student dorm.

    Leaving the hotel

    Dirty damp room. Damp and mouldy bathroom Over priced Not described accurately Untidy and dirty office, where we had to check in.

    Friendly, clean and comfortable

    The toilet in our en-suite and a public toilet on the first floor did not flush.

    Too much noise and the toilet was extremely small, the room heater wasn't working either !!

    "A very warm welcome by the staff / owners, very helpful with local information and extremely pleasant. They showed me to my room and made sure everything was ok. Ten minutes walk to the rail station and close to town centre. Hotel staff advised where to get a brilliant low cost curry - many thanks, it was awesome." (97705804)

    Friendly staff and spacious room.

    Location, a bit noisy (near busy roads), I am a light sleeper.

    "Place needs redecorating. Should be able to control temperature on radiators, room was freezing cold and drafty, bathroom was like an icebox, taps would not turn off so constantly dripping. The hotel was not very clean. The breakfast was awfull the food overcooked. Definately was not worth £75 it was a rip off." (97114037)

    Location

    Unprofessionalism of Staff. Being late for breakfast merely by coupld of minutes, guy did not entertain much and I had to leave with only two bread piece. Overall I had toask for Juice and, which is unfortunate.

    The staff at the Bow are its greatest asset and were friendly and helpful from the start to end of our stay.

    The breakfast was a little on the basic side.

    First room we were given smelled very damp. The carpet was indeed damp. Mould on bathroom walls had been painted over, probably more than once but could still be seen and smelled. Bedding was not clean. The second room we were given was not damp and mouldy but still not clean, skirting boards thick with dirt.

    "Overall a 'cheap and cheerful' hotel.The room was warm and clean to an acceptable standard, although the furniture was rather dated and well used. The toilet and shower was acceptable, but again, a bit scruffy. The staff made our expereince positive.     Nothing,although there was adequate off road parking.

    The shower was unclean,full of pubic hair.When the shower was used the lug blocked resulting in more pubic hairs around my feet. The cup in the room hadn't been cleaned and had a ring of stains fro the last person around the rim. The window wouldn't stay open and another window was broken

    Good value for money

    A little run down, could maybe do with a little refurbishment of the rooms.
