    Good value hotel. Comfortable room with lovely sea views. Good facilities.

    Food good, but a little expensive. No room service available.

    Changed rooms on second night, vastly improved quality and standard.

    Room on the first night was of a poor standard, very small, adjacent to kitchen and lift. Dressing table draws could not be used due to poor positioning, mirror poorly positioned, bath stained, shower head leaking. Requested a room change, unable to due to hotel being fully booked. Room rate was partially reduced to compensate Wedding reception guests had taken over the hotel bar and were noisy in particular in the room below ours where lots of talking could be heard via the lift shaft from 04:00 hours in the morning, necessitated having to contact the occupants of the room to allow sleep. Very poor standard of room for the money paid.

    Good room with sea view - well appointed. breakfast service excellent

    slow check in and confusing payment methods - spa staff busy on all occasions visited and towels requested from reception which was very slow

    "exellent spacious, clean room. Poor for service and food which is a shame because the hotel is in a lovely location and with some care could be an excellent hotel. The staff looked 'glum' and appeared to do things in 'their own good time' which was disappointing. " (107554648)

    Large, spacious clean room. The room had a nice view and almost noise free from other rooms. It was air conditioned , the bed was comfortable and it was the nicest thing about our stay.

    First night we ate out as the young man behind the bar was rude not only to us but other residents too. Everything seemed too much troublw for him.I was expecting good food.On the 2 remaining nights we ate at the hotel the food was poor and i firmly believe it was not home made. In fact when my husband ordered soup he was told it was tomato and corriander and mushroom soup arrived much to the surprise of ourselves and the staff . I travel a lot and stay in lesser graded hotels that provide excellent food.

    good location, good facilities although we didn't use them.

    toilet wouldn't flush, hot tap would turn when turning on and off. dirty tableware at breakfast and dirty windows (seagulls) at breakfast table.

    Staff were amazingly helpful, especially reception and bar staff.

    Food was disappointing. We had a meal in the restaurant about 3 years ago and it ranked as one of the best ever. We assume that chef has moved on. We expected the same this visit but were disappointed. The only bad point for the whole of our stay.

    Staff were all very friendly and all very willing,room was fab,would definitely come back.Food was very nice I suffer from food allergies,the staff were very helpful and understanding when I was ordreing my food.

    "we have previously stayed at this hotel however we were located in the new accomadation block and overall for what we required our stay was good. This time we were located in room 12 and clearly from previus experience the standards have fallen. Rooms were tired, heating was uncontrolable, the valence was stained and bedding had hairs in, and for the interest of the hotels reputation we will select the anonymous bracket so matters can be addressed.     hotel and waiting staff reall were lovely and very helpful. room was cleaned extremly well and lovely room.

    there were no beauty staff there for me to have a treatment. which would of been nice in the evening rather than just using the spa but i was advised to pre book in which i will for the 18th of november when im next down

    "The hotel was a little dated but it was very clean. We were offered a room in the new annexe but we opted for a sea view - room 10 has a dual aspect view of cardigan bay and the headland. The location was breathtaking and the staff were very polite and helpful. We got peace and quiet, plenty of fresh air and wildlife. Would certainly go back. " (107326487)

    Fantastic location, lovely staff. Close to very nice bistro although there are options for eating at the hotel.

    If pushed we would have to admit that the old part of the hotel is a little dated

    The Bed was massive. Food quality price and portions brilliant. Big Screen TV's in room. Bar prices below what I normally pay

    Dirty glasses, ash trays over flowing at entrance. Food dropped on floor fron evening meal still under tables at breakfast.

    It was late when I arrived and I was tired, the night porter was excellent, and the room was a very pleasant surprise and the bed was extremely comfortable.

    Great location. Great views of Cardigan Bay from romm, restaurant and bar.

    In the bar there was only one person on duty. He had to serve drinks, take food orders, serve the food and clear the tables. Despite this I have to say he remained very calm and polite. When I complained to the Duty Manager that several of us had been waiting for a long time, he mearly ponted at the barman and said he would be with us soon. After getting my drink and ordering my food I was amazed to find that sepite the barman still being rushed off his feet with people waiting, the Duty Manager was sat at reception reading the newspaper!
