    V good, friendly and helpful staff.

    (Minor points) No fruit-tea bags. No tissues in bathroom. V restricted parking,but staff helps out with this.

    Location. Breakfast was good

    The hotel was in need of a face lift. The room service food was very poor. Hotel was very hot and A/C was not working.

    Room was large and comfortable. AC was fine.

    I was not told that the room was up two flights of stairs and I'm 73! There were lots of large, ugly spiders in the room near the windows. We asked to have the room sprayed but nothing was done. Big demerits.

    Good position overlooking Thames..handy for Hampton Court. Food in restaurant very good. (Hampton)

    Insufficient guest parking, ants crawling over table. Must have got in from outside courtyard.

    most staff extremely helpful and friendly -especially waitress and man on reception Fri evening. meal in evening very good. brilliant tv set up, amd very powerful shower.

    bed not the most comfortable I have slept in. VERY disappointed that very limited bar service after 11 pm...especially as a number of us had just returned from the concert at Hampton Court. also would be very helpful if reception had a note of the phone number and code for the pay and display cap park outside so guests can call from comfort of room rather than having to rush out before 8.30 to put some money in the machine!! hand dryers in main toilets exceedingly noisy.

    Lovely setting, excellent staff. Room was good and lovely atmosphere - really oldy worldy

    Perfectly positioned for Hampton Court Palace. Lovely location on the river.

    Character of rooms and staff

    Front rooms noisy and many rooms are looking very tired, leading to an appearance of uncleanliness

    Beautifully decorated room and very spacious. Shower was excellent

    Air conditioning unit was extremely noisy,quite inefficient while it was working and then it stopped altogether

    delightful staff - sadly a real surprise for London - all staff we met were excellent and very helpful polite and relaxed.

    the squeaky floorboards of the room above meant we heard everything that went on upstairs!

    Excellent location. Superb food if a little pricey. Excellent rooms and very good staff.

    No food after 10.00pm even a sandwich if you arrive late. Bar closes at 11.00 sharp even for guests.Staff not aware of locality ie Churches 2 miles away.

    Liked the complimentary mini bar, the huge bed, and wide range of toiletries. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast made a nice change from the lacklustre breakfasts you quite often get presented with.

    The room had a slightly damp feel, and the positioning of the air con unit meant that the curtains couldn't close properly.

    It's just across the road from Hampton Court Palace. Pleasant riverside location, good breakfast and helpful staff.

    Some chipped bathroom tiles and the ac unit tube makes closing the curtains difficult.

    "The room was a good size and nicely appointed. The management seemed to have thought of just about everything from businessman to leisure traveller.Our room was at the rear of the hotel and therefore was quiet and restfull.Extemely convenient for Hampton Court, which was the reason for our visit. Car parking could be a problem although we were lucky to find a spot and leave the car on site during our stay." (97631907)

    "On the whole we enjoyed our stay, the location was good as we didn't want to stay in central London, although it was rather expensive as breakfast wasn't included in our deal. We requested a quiet room,which we got, and even though there was a wedding party taking place during our visit, we were not disturbed. On the down side the room was very hot (in early May) and the bed very hard. The mini-bar was re-stocked daily and toiletries replenished. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food or restaurant service." (97131901)

    The hotel was in a good position to visit Hampton Court Palace and surrounding area. Hotel clean and comfortable with friendly staff

    The room was unbearably hot, the air conditioning unit was required, even though it was not very hot outside.

    "Very handy location for hampton station across the road, just a 25minute journey to waterloo. Parking facilities limited and guests have to leave keys at reception in case they require moving. Rooms are comfortable but not modern by any means. Very quiet hotel with the lovely hamptons restaurant which i would recommend. Staff were good and friendly. Overall they stay was good. Would visit again, but if it was for a special occasion would book the deluxe room as opposed to the traditional. Overall pleased with the stay." (97810699)

    "All the little things, complimentary mini bar drinks were great, bathrobes, Lovely breakfast room with a good aspect on the River Thames. I had some guests come to see me in the morning, could they join me for Breakfast? Yes they could! I wasn't made to feel that I had overstepped my boundaries for asking if people could join me at my table. There's also a nice quiet little library if you would like som peace and quiet to read! All in all a lovely hotel, that pays attention to giving you a few of the little things that make a stay special without you feeling that you have to constantly put your hand in your pocket any time you would like something other than a bed.     The rooms were large and clean. There was ample light in the rooms and good hanging space and a nice outlook onto the courtyard if you wanted some natural light without looking at the back of a building.

    "Hotel should do an access survey and look at positioning hand rails ,even where there are only 2 or 3 stairs. I di not see a ramp or alternative access at the entrance to hotel so struggled up the entrance steps." (99108075)

    position and convenience of hotel for Hampton Court Flower Show

    very poor access for disabled. Entrance without rail, access to Room 210 involved many steps without any hand rails. I did not request a disabled room as usually hotels of this standard and price have lifts or ramps. Access to dining facilities involved stairs and was difficult for me. Even in the dining room there was steps which made it awkward carrying food at buffet breakfast. I appreciate that the hotel was fully booked and difficult to change rooms.

    "The location beside the river was lovely, right opposite Hampton Court Palace, with good bus routes to other locations and the railway station just across the bridge. The room we`were given was a suite, with everything included, and breakfast beside the river was nice Just a shame we only stopped for one night" (99574168)

    the room was very dark.the table lamp was not working,i didnt like the fact the window had no lock.i did report the toilet would not flush every time,the toilet seat was unstable .the seat was fixed but not the flush.

    The Hotel was perfect for our visit to both Hampton Court and London (half-hour direct rail).
