    Easy, hassle-free. Polite and friendly staff. Clean. Overall good value for money.

    Some guests noisy and room location over main entrance was noisy at times. Rooms appeared not to be soundproofed.

    Location and character of the Hotel. Friendliness and efficiency of the staff, quality of the diner and breakfast

    Only two; no traditional Scottish fare on the menu (Haggis)and the stay was not long enough!

    "Our room was nice and clean, and the customer service was excellent. Good breakfast, although we would have prefered that breakfast be served slightly longer (breakfast hours ended at 9:30). We travelled over the Easter break, and there was an egg hunt and games arranged for children staying at the hotel, which was a nice touch. We also liked the sitting room in the front of the hotel, which provided a good place to relax and converse with others. Overall, an excellent experience. " (107385801)

    The manager & staff were very friendly and helpful and it was very well located for our purposes and quite spacious.

    Nothing really. The set menu for dinner was fairly uninspiring, so we ate out at a rrstaurant recommended by the receptionist.

    "The extra space available in this family room was the most pleasant surprise and could be a huge selling point when travelling with children. All the information in the room was informative and the hotel was within easy striking distance of all the visitor attractions that the area has to offer. Although it was a quiet time, the staff were very welcoming, as was the open fire when we arrived in inclement weather. We did not eat an evening meal, but the menu for the Highland Banquet looked very tempting. We were offered the usual varied breakfast and serving staff were attentive and polite. Overall our visit to Nethybridge was very enjoyable - we will back!" (97586974)

    Spacious with a beautiful view. As family accommodation it was excellent.The extra TV/DVD player was an added bonus.

    "This hotel was very easy to find and was set in the middle of the beautiful, peaceful, Abernethy forest. It was very nicely decorated and looked much more expensive than it actually was. The room and the general look of the entire hotel was very beautiful, the staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast menu was very extensive and very very tasty.     "I would think the majority of custom is down to coach tours who are only staying for one night on a package deal and are quite happy with their surroundings,but the hotel really needs money spend on it." (3305238624)

    "The hotel was easy to get to and was in a lovely location. Our rooms were very comfortable with good facilities and scenic views from the windows. We received a warm welcome on arrival and found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. We were offered a choice of formal dinner or a bar meal. We chose the latter and found the menu offered a good choice of alternatives. The food was very good! Breakfast was equally enjoyable with a full range of hot and cold choices from the buffet.     "Felt the hotel exceeded my expectations on the comfort level and was impressed by the ensuite facilities that reached a higher standard of cleanliness then some other hotels. The lounge areas were very comfortable but could probably do with more reading material and maybe a bit more on the history of the hotel. The bar service was efficient and the food delivered promptly and cooked well. Thought the general service was good and my request for flickering light in my room to be changed was carried out within half an hour. Didn't know anything about this hotel before checking in but would definetly now recomend and will stay again." (3305010521)

    A very charming turn of the century hotel.It offered value for money and the overall ambiance was excellent

    Due to no smoking policy in scotland which I support some guests did tend to loiter outside the hotel which later on on a warm night was a mild annoyance with noise travelling to rooms.

    "As a family with a young baby, we felt very welcome at this hotel. The staff were friendly towards us and we felt comfortable in all parts of the hotel - even the bar and restaurant area. We had a lovely evening meal and the full English breakfast was very tasty! Plus the hotel was situated near to lots of places of interest - if travelling by car." (3304572125)

    "It was very acceptable accommodation, with pleasant and helpful staff, if not a little officious when it came to the gentleman who insisted we needed to confirm all our requirements for food and meals when we walked through the door after a long day travelling. Location was the key for us, as I've mentioned above. The hotel could do with some general repairs as the exterior was starting to look a little tired and worn. Garden opposite was a nice feature. Limited car parking available (and I would have thought, when full, a real problem to park satisfactorily), but we found a space (usually the last) on both occasions we returned to the hotel."     Location was important for us, near to the Cairngorms National Park. The hotel's breakfast was excellent and the service good. The rooms were a little tired, and is need of a little attention, as was the overall exterior of the hotel, but good value for money and I would stay again.

    It was friendly,and we were able to have the dog with us.

    Although rooms were clean the decor throughout could be better.The dining room staff would benefit from some in house training especially at breakfast.

    Coach party left at 6-6.30 in the morning,lots of shouting!!! Should be pointed out to other customers that guests may still be asleep at this hour!!!!
