    Uitstekend hotel,behulpzame en vriendelijke eigenaresse, uitstekende keuken,gezellige lounge, sfeervol ingerichte superschone kamers.

    On dine bien et le personnel est tres bien.

    Ne pas ^prendre la chambre N°10 la SDB est impraticable....lorsque vous tire la chasse d'eau, l'ensemble remonte par le conduit de la baignoire et se retrouve dans votre baignoire avec pleins de glouglous et de senteur bien sympathique ainsi que dans le lavabo et il n'y apas d'eau froide de disponible al adouche a cause d'un systeme de reglage de mélangeur antique et non-fonctionnel.

    Enchanting surroundings in hunting lodge in Scotland; very considerate and helpful owners.

    Overall the experience was very good. We were treated well by the staff who were very friendly. We would consider stopping there again sometime in the future and we will be recomend the Hotel to our family and friends.

    "We really enjoyed our stay here. It was relaxing and peaceful, and the proprietors were amazingly helpful and friendly. I thought the 1:00 pm check-in time was wonderful, as I didn't feel guilty about arriving in the early afternoon. The meals were great, as was the wine and whiskey. We wish we could have stayed more nights." (108023032)

    "This hotel has a wonderful old flavor to it, with the added advantage of the peace and quiet of a small town. It was very convenient to find off the route from Culloden going back to Edinburgh. It was also easily accessable off a main road. After traveling up the West coast of Scotland through the narrow roads, this was delightful on our way back." (97463340)

    The Dalrachney Lodge Hotel is an excellent hotel, well worth the price with frinedly staff, great food and rooms.

    "The lodge is traditional, the food is well-prepared but the location is not ideal, surrounded by odd buildings and vehicles. The view overlooks a soccer pitch and it does not feel right. The rate for Bed and Breakfast is not cheap for what is on offer." (99661255)

    Spacious and airy

    No text on TV. Small number of channels. No closed-in shower, only bath open to the bathroom with shower attachment. Not handy for older clients. The hot water was close to scalding and this presents a problem when there is an unregulated shower attachment - but it WAS hot.

    "Plenty of character in this country house hotel. Well situated in a quiet location at the end of the village. The option of bar meal or main restaurant in the evening was good, although with both options there was still the formality of sitting in a separate lounge with the menus before being seated, which was nicely done but will suit some but not maybe everyone."     This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The accomodation is very clean, the staff very friendly but not overpowering. The food was execellent. This was exactly what we were looking for a lovely quiet break.

    "The room was clean with lovely views to wake up to but the bathroom facilities were less than adequate ,especially with the carpet on the floor and no curtain to contain the water from the treacherous hand held shower.The decore was charming but a little tired." (2626437)

    Wonderful view of stream and garden. Clean room though hand held shower in tub had an extremely sensitive scaldingly hot/cold water control!

    Carpets on stairs need replacing and carpet in bathroom less than appealing given there is no shower curtain around bath tub.

    "we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is well placed for a visit to that area and within easy driving distance of many places well worth a visit. We would not book the same room though. It is ideal for a family with young children but not good value or comfortable for a couple." (2716043)

    The hotel was very nice, the staff were friendly.

    We booked into a family room as all of the double rooms were taken. The room was understandably full of beds and therefore lacked comfortable seats etc.

    "The hotel is lovely with well appointed rooms and beautiful views. The staff are attentive and friendly without being the slightest bit overbearing or smarmy. The food is very good. Having breakfast served instead of having to forage as one does in a self-serving set up is just wonderful as everything is freshly cooked to order and therefore much more enjoyable. It all adds up to a wonderfully relaxing stay - something we certainly intend to repeat." (2734981)

    The size of the room - it was very spacious. The view from our window was beautiful.

    Can't think of any - have a horse/ donkey in the field at the front?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    "The hotel was in a lovely area, it was well run, tidy and very clean. The tv in the room could be a little bigger with cable channels The food was brilliant and the taglatteli was the best I have ever tasted, and, worth going back for." (2112272)
