    this hotel is very close to the tube stop and the staff is quite nice, especially the breakfast waiter

    our bathroom had such a horrible mildew smell that i used the kitchenette sink for everything, including a sponge bath instead of taking a shower (the smell in there literally made me nauseous) our room had windows open to the breakfast area and drapes that didn't completely close - so i was dodging being in view while dressing overall cleanliness was quite poor - i (unfortunately) dropped something that required me to see the floor under and behind the bed - worse than a frat room in November.

    value for money, clean and tidy. breakfast was very good we just didnt appreciate the bug that was on one of our plates, this was most probably because the breakfast was served in the conservatry.

    staff seemed annoyed when we asked for extra towels and an iron. the sofa bed wasnt made up in our room when we arrived and when we asked for it to be made up we were given 1 sheet a pillow and a blanket, so we just made it up ourselves.

    good location

    We booked into Acton town but were transferred to another guest house after the booking was confirmed.The other guest house was very basic not even a kettle and coffee for the morning.Very old small TV,barely functioning

    "The bed sheets smelled really bad. And it doesn't seem like they wash them for every new clients they get. the Bathroom is ok. The curtains and carpet look dirty and the wood on the windows look like it's been getting eaten by termites. They said they have internet. But the internet doesnt work at all.     Free parking was a real bonus. Location next to Tube was excellent for travel into Hyde Park to see Concert.

    "B&Bs in London might be like as this hotel...very expensive for their service." (99032040)

    no towal service, loss of cleanliness, lack of air condition and lifts. The neighbourhood were also very noisy until midnight, watching TVs and chatting.

    The toilet/shower combination was not clean, and was growing 3 different coloured moulds.     "As soon as you leave Acton Town station you turn right and you can see the hotel. Thus, the proximity of the hotel was a bonus. Staff are friendly and the hotel served its purpose in the sense that I had to do business two stations away; good value for money. However, you have to walk through a dark lane if you stay at the back building where anyone could lurk by which seemed a tad scary." (97914684)

    "I was very displeased with the room and the hotel, but very glad that the staff allowed me to change my reservation. They were pleasant and courteous at all times and I was grateful for their kindness." (97329927)

    The staff persons were very helpful in dealing with some of my concerns about the room. The breakfast was plentiful and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. Thankfully, the room had an ensuite bath, but not all of them do.

    The hotel itself is old, run-down, and very hard to find. My room smelled so strongly of stale cigarette smoke I thought I would be ill. The small was somewhat covered by the air freshener that the night adminstrator gave me. Additionally, it took over 3 hours of driving around the area and the help of the concierge at the hotel I vacated the morning of 2/25, to find the place, and when I got there, there was no clear marking for how to enter the parking lot. When I booked, the person on the line said there was ample parking, but that was not exactly correct. In addition, she did not advise me that some of the rooms do not have en suite bath facilities.

    Plenty of room. Available cooker & fridge. Parking available.

    Poor quality portable TV. Bathroom far too hot. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

    Easy access for commuting on tube. It was surprisingly quiet during the night.

    The room was cramped, the shower facility was inadequate. Continental breakfast was sparse. Tea making facilities poor.

    The room was fairly spacious and the beds were comfortable. There was adequate storage space and tea making facilities.

    The path from the main road to the hotel annexe entrance was unlit. The heating in our room did not work after the first night. the bathroom was in a dreadful state with mould growing around the windows, a rusty bath and radiator. The breakfast room was not heated and was cold every morning. we saw ants on the table on one morning.
