    Staff friendly and helpful also very professional

    food was poor value for money, needs fresh ingredients rather than frozen. I would stay at hotel again, unfortunately I would avoid the restaurant.

    Several lights in room not working, making it a bit dingy. We filled in a report card.

    Easy parking convenient location

    Continuous noise from ( probably) freezer located under window. No evening meal available in restaurant all rooms allocated to a private function which did not appear to exist after 5pm. Only terrestial TV available

    Staff are friendly and the hotel is very clean. The food is excellant too, but the bar menu is very limited. Prices of food and drink are very reasonable.

    There isn't somebody at the bar all evening when it's not busy which means you have to find somebody to serve you when you want something

    Very friendly and welcoming staff

    Although the overall quality of the breakfast was good I think it would have been helpful if the breakfast staff came around the tables and explained the process buffet style, tea/coffee and toast at your table. It just avoids every single guess wandering around a little aimlessly

    "I would have expected better from a Hotel with 3 AA stars. Our stay was marred by lack of attention to detail. I believe the management was new so perhaps they will get to grips with things. This questionnaire should have an additional grading between poor and acceptable, such as "Needs Attention"! Some of my "acceptable" responses really fell short of acceptable, but to have marked them "poor" would have been unfair. Likewise on the next question. I would stay there again, but only if I thought they had brought things up to scratch." (108235344)

    Location was convenient for our purpose. Initial approach to hotel and its' setting was attractive. Breakfast good. Room Linen clean. Good selection of complimentary hot drink sachets. Free newspaper was appreciated. Pleasant garden with tables.

    Our double room was somewhat cramped. Traffic noise quite intrusive even with windows closed. Windows only single glazing. We were wakened at 0730 hrs. by delivery van and trolleys from a company called "3663". They made no attempt whatsoever to keep quiet. Heavyweight duvet not suitable for summer use. NO SMOKE DETECTOR IN THE BEDROOM. There were some further maintenance and housekeeping problems associated with our room and also with the hotel in general. Bar decor at odds with olde worlde charachter of building. The upholstery (suede effect?) on some of the restaurant chairs needed cleaning. Breakfast table unstable. Needed great care to avoid spilling tea when cutting your bacon!

    original room not available so an alternative was ready and waiting when we arrived.

    pointed out to receptionist that no coffee was in the room - she said to collect some on the way back from our night out. however reception was shut when we returned and we had to do without.

    problems with credit card held payment when booked held payment when booked in then took payment when checked out so held £220 just for a 1 night £60 stay now 12/6/09 and still not had credit put back on card even tho rang hotel on the 10/06/09 with the problem

    this hotel was ideally located for the purpose of my stay in london there was a great variety of resturants locally.

    it was raining while staying at the hotel and the location of my room was to go outside to access the reception and the dining room for breakfast.

    Room noisy due to a piece of plant machinery running all night, and the room was very hot in spite of having windows open. This unfortunately then let in traffic noise.

    Very little parking space, little attention to detail i.e. no milk for drinks in the room, no remote control for TV, TV position set to far from bed and at an angle, bed to soft and felt tired (old), generally tired look and feel to room.

    The staff were friendly, the food was great and the room was very comfortable

    The heating was on in the upstairs hallway constantly which made it very hot and uncomfortable. Also the bar is closed at 11pm and you have to find a member of staff if you want anything or pay the room service charge.

    The room and bed were very small. The shower head was filthy and I asked the receptionist if we could move rooms and she showed me two other rooms but both showers were awful. One ceiling was full of mould. The cistern was really noisy and went on for some time once the chain had been pulled.

    "The Tudor Lodge is outside a little town called eastcote it took us 5 minutes to walk into and about 10 minutes to the tube station we bought a day pass for £7 each off peak which took us straight through to London.We found an excellent Greek restaurant the propietor was very friendly the food was excellent well worth a visit.We thought the hotel was very good value for the money and would stay again" (107161588)

    The hotel should make it clear on their website that there is a new building off the hotel and you may not stay in the actual lodge

    Rooms very clean and in excellent condition. The food alone would make me return to this hotel. I have to say that having stayed in many hotels over the last 11 years on a regular basis, this was the best food i have ever had the pleasure of eating. This might sound a little ridiculous but the best way to describe the food is ORGASMIC I take my hat off to the chef and pay him the most wonderful compliments possible

    Wireless connection was very poor and could only get connected in the main building

    Lovely welcome, the room was very spacious. Good breakfast. Overall a really nice atmosphere to the whole hotel.
