    "We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent standard of the hotel compared with some of a similar price range that we've stayed on the UK mainland. Everything from the check-in to the cleanliness and comfort of the room through to bar service and breakfast could not be faulted. It was worth paying that bit extra for a sea view as it was stunning. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but would certainly book the same hotel again should we visit Jersey in the future. I cannot say there was a down side, although a nice little extra touch would have been if there had been a small complimentary 'something special' in the room from the management as I had advised in my booking that the visit was for my husband's 50th birthday. Perhaps this is a little unreasonable, though." (3304837637)

    The accommodation was very clean, tastefully decorated and the bed was comfortable (and huge!). Fabulous views across the bay.

    "Overall the stay was very good,food was varied,well cooked,plenty of choices and very well presented and it was a pleasure to dine.The noise level above our room was loud both early in the morning and later at night,it seemed as though the people above were moving furniture.This I feel would be another drawback to staying at Golden Sands again."     Very clean and room service was excellent.Balcony view was exceptional.

    Found the pillows extremely hard and feel that this must be improved as far as we are concerned if we are to stay with you again.

    "Great - would heartily recommend the place. The wedding we were invited too was at L'Horizon and the people who stayed there were commenting how small and expensive their rooms were, and how under-staffed the place was. We tried not to be too smug!" (1852588)

    Lovely rooms, helpful staff. Good restaurant too - was a bit nervous of such a large opeartion but the food and service were excellent.

    Not to leave finished with food trays in the corridors too long.

    I was very impressed with the room size and the setting of the room with the balcony literally feet from the beach was lovely.

    Perhaps a little old-fashioned, maybe the decor could do with a little modernisation.

    "We had an excellent few days holiday in a friendly and comfortable hotel. The last time we stayed at the hotel was on our honeymoon 42 years ago and we certainly intend to go back for a longer stay sometime soon. We would suggest one minor improvement to the online booking process - it would be better to be able to select exactly the room type required. We prefer a double room with bath and shower but were initially allocated one with shower only. The reception staff were very helpful but the only room immediately available with bath and shower had twin beds - which we accepted." (1939304)

    Comfortable spacious ensuite room with balcony overlooking beautiful bay. Good breakfast and dinner menus.

    No free parking available (public car park directly opposite hotel - pay between 8am & 6pm).

    "No hesitation to return later in the year, if you can improve the performance of the shower by boosting the pressure, lower the curtain so that it remains within the tray. provide a soap dish in the cubical and move the bed to enable the wardrobe doors to open back would be an added bonus .. sorry but when your business is in interiors you tend not to leave your work at home .. see you later, Steve Bryan. Oh yes probably check the W.C flush as you have to work at it" (2113298)

    location to the beach was excellent and the standard of cleanlinesswas very good

    i feel a better system for car parking for guests should be looked at . at a cost of 47P per hour this should be provided by the hotel
