    Food excellent

    Bedroom like a barracks and smelled damp. Bedding also appeared damp. Dingy room and very small.

    ROOM WAS LOVELY, BATHROOM EXCELLENT, HIGHLIGHT HOWEVER WAS DINNER WHICH WAS EXCELLENT. ALSO COSY SMALL BAR

    Good location

    We had a modern room which was really weird. It missed the mark, providing facilities that we did not want or need, such as a jacuzzi bath and stainless steel bathroom surrounds. Extraordinary taste and far too expensive for what it was.

    Restaurant is excellent; beautiful setting; well-run hotel with friendly staff.

    Wireless internet access would be a welcome addition.

    fantastic new extension. Room with a view, decking and patio doors. Brilliant.

    "Overall our stay was enjoyable, only marred by a group of overseas golfers who were loud, rude and constantly used bad language and mobile phones in the restaurant. Had it not been for this we would have given a 'good' for overall experience instead of 'fair'" (99078738)

    Modern, clean and comfortable room

    A little small and not particularly quiet as close to road.

    "the menu was restrictive and did not appeal to ourselves. We ordered soup which came without a role. The bottle of wine we ordered was served with no pleasantries by a waiter with dirty trousers." (3304857690)

    The room was not very large. When we arived there was no kettle available to make a cup of tea only a coffee machine

    Very modern rooms. Having your own front door instead of being in part of a large hotel gave an extra feeling of privacy. very friendly and helpful staff.

    Eating in the hotel is very expensive however the food is excellent.

    Slamming doors due to door return mechanism; sofa bed for child was not comfortable

    I really liked the feeling of privacy being in a building away from the main hotel/inn

    The reception area - reception area a bit small and not always manned

    the staff were very polite.the evning meal and the breakfast was amazing.
