    Although we had confirmation of early check in no room was ready. We were attending a wedding and needed to shower and change, we aere offered to get ready in an unserviced room. room not as described, superior - no flowers in room although there was some very stale looking fudge and almost certain the bad was a standard double. No full length mirror or wardrobe to hang dress

    "We were slightly apprehensive about our stay as the reviews on Trip Advisor were quite negative. However we decided to make our own judgment and were pleasantly surprised with the decor in our room [we had paid for a superior room] in the barn conversion." (107699972)

    Comfortable, spacious room in converted barn annexe and well presented evening meal with a good choice of menu.

    Serving of breakfast was quite slow as there was only one waitress on duty, but when it arrived it was hot and freshly cooked.

    This Hotel was very old and had an olde worlde charm. It was situated on a main road overlooking a village green and the room we occupied had a cathedral beamed ceiling.

    No reception desk we had to wait for someone to come and take us to our room. Long wait for breakfast (over an hour) Breakfast served with broken egg on one occasion and fried bread very hard Understaffed or badly organised No one asked if everything was alright Breakfast was okay, bacon and sausage very tasty but only an hour slot was too short. Area outside our room was shabby with an empty winebottle on the ground which remained throughout our stay. Very impersonal feel to the place No one introduced themselves - so bad hosts.

    The serving staff very helpfull

    We had a superior room booked, superior it wasn't. I've stayed in cheaper places that were far better. The entrance to the room block was dirty and there were old cobwebs hanging from furniture. I was looking for a vacuum to do the room myself. There was a light not working in the bathroom which is evidence that checking is low on the house care list.

    The staff are friendly and courteous. The hotel is set in a quiet countryside location, still conveniently close to Cromer and the North Norfolk coast. The room was very large and had a comfortable bed.

    The decor of the hotel is dated and really needs upgrading. We had a very large barn conversion room, with an unwanted extra single bed and a small lumpy sofa. For the pretty high price charged, we expected more luxury and better attention to detail i.e. a comfortable sofa and more style. The curtains do not cover the top of the window, so you are awoken at sunrise whether you like it or not. We didn't get the fudge all the other reviews refer to! The bathroom is a drab and depressing disabled setup, with the lights not working and no shelf over the sink for razors toothbrush etc.

    Easy to book on the internet and helpful staff when we arrived

    Food not great - bit old fashioned. Didn't get order quite right, no black pepper, poached eggs not drained so on soggy toast, soup not very tasty or that hot, pudding was lovely tho!!

    The room (Knapton) comfortable, I think that a couple of 15amp plugs nearer to dressing table and kettle would be helpful, the Bathroom door does not close easily, and the toilet cistern very noisy,

    "I booked one of the four poster rooms as a surprise for my husband to celebrate our anniversary. I wanted it to be cosy, comfortable and relaxing, with a touch of romance, so that we could really unwind and enjoy ourselves, and that's just what we got. The homemade fudge and posy of flowers in our room when we arrived was a nice touch. The staff were extremely friendly. There was plenty of choice on the breakfast menu and our evening meal was excellent also with plenty of choice. We will definately return to Green Farm on another occasion." (97167162)

    It was a typical cosy country hotel with very comfortable clean rooms, the food was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly.

    The room (Badger)and en-suite facilities was on the small side but good for what we wanted. It was clean and tidy with all the facilities one needed.

    If you sat square on the loo or tried to stand directly in front of the mirror to shave, you burnt yourself on the very hot towel rail. The plumber who installed the loo should be made to sit on it,naked, for a week.

    "Opening hours of restaurant - various members of my party were arriving at different times on a Thursday evening & it was a little worrying that we wouldn't be able to dine all together. However, staff were quite helpful & although the last ordering time was 8.30pm there was some willingness to provide cold food if necessary.     "The evening meals were the real high spot, menues were very varied, freshly prepared and changed on a nightly basis, meaning you did not have to go out looking for somewhere different to eat as the menu was never boring." (99754883)

    It was above the normal standard in all aspects, other than the sound insulation when adjacent room was occupied.

    The sound insulation between rooms was not as good as is should be in the converted barn.

    "Overall the feel of the room (Stoats and Weasels) was a bit cheap and dated (not in the oldy worldy way we had hoped for). The food in the restaurant was very over priced and the atmosphere a bit staid. We hiked to the next village to go to a more lively pub!" (99659124)

    It was clean.

    The bed was extremely uncomfortable which was disappointing as we had booked a four poster as a treat.

    Quite a small room, the boiler didn't work properly so we didn't have hot water for a time.

    The hotel is lovely and retains much of it's old world charm, so expect the floorboards in your room to creak!The bar and lounge areas were very comfortable as were our rooms.

    There are some areas which need decorative attention.
