    "Tevreden over hotel - ontevreden over slechte geur in de kamer - rook absoluut niet fris. Kleine kamer maar alle basisfaciliteiten waren aanwezig." (107922148)

    Goede ligging, goede service, vlot, redelijke prijs

    De geur van de kamer was slecht - alsof het recent als rookkamer was gebruikt - of slecht verlucht was. Het verkeer was op verdieping drie de ganse nacht licht storend.

    "My business travel is global having stayed at approximately 50 countries, i will not be staying again at St Giles" (108520119)

    location excellent.

    No ironing board or iron in the room,( having to go to the 6th floor and share a room with total strangers can be intimidating and inconvenient. No curtesy comb available - noisy when trying to go to sleep.Cooked breakfast , size and options limted - not able to have a proportionate size based on my preference was again unsuitable.Poor limited availabity / choice of TV stations and poor reception making the picture quality poor.

    location

    the room was very noisy, could not sleep at night, (car and people passing by). Room not very clean, (blood stain on the wall, level of cleanliness very poor, mainly the bathroom, the bathroom sink was blocked, the bathroom was smelly)

    Hotel was close to lesiure activities

    Hotel cleaning staff wanted to enter the room to clean whilst we were still there. I think they should wait until we gave the keys in and should go in and clean. The room was too small,compared to the room on the website. For the price I was paying compared to the room which I received I was better of staying elsewhere.

    Hotel is in a good location, rooms were clean, and lifts worked well, no problems booking in or out.

    Not enough coffee or sugar in the room. Could have done with small fridge in the room. The continental breakfast was not up to standard, could not eat the pastries

    "I could have booke any hotel in london, I thought this would be ok. I looked throught the internet, and seen Alot Better and cheaper then the St Giles. The next time I will choose a better. I have never complained about a room before in my 64 years, I was in the Canadian Army for 20 years, and sleep in fox holes, That had more room." (108539121)

    Thye Hotel looks really Great when you check in, the Front looks Great. The room is the smallest that I have ever stayed in.

    I could not even wash my legs when I had a shower, the shower is so small, I wood hit my head on the wall, I am anly 6 feet tall. We had to walk sideways to get by our suite cases in the room. It also had an 18 inch. TV, I have never seen one as small since they invented TV's. They had to put one set of towels in the closet, for the second person. the opening to get into the shower is about18 t0 24 inches, I had to turn sideways to get into the shower. I have stayed in hotels all over Europe, and this is the Smallest Yet. We were in Room 628. They say they have 6oo rooms, they should have made it 500 and gave everone else a little more room.

    clean room small but functional,

    advertises leisure facilities but there is a charge, says includes breakfast but this is just coffee and a pastry with nowhere to sit and eat it at busy times, heating was not on in the hotel despite it being November so i had to ask for a portable heater as room was very cold

    staff was very friendly and patient when we asked something, very central in London

    shower in room was a little bit dirty, the hairdryer stopped again and again after a short time, a radio for some music was missing in the room, generally you should reduce the prices a little bit

    There was no hot water in the room at all. When checking out this was mentioned to the employee on the desk and we were told that they were aware of an issue with how water not being available to some rooms. This was not communicated to me before hand which should have been if it was a known issue. We were offered neither an apology or a discount for the inconvenience.

    Modernised up market hotel. The new Roof Top rooms were excellent EXCEPT for the noise

    The noise in the room I was in (RT6) would prevent me booking again (or at least staying in your so-called executive rooms). All night long there was a very loud throbbing/humming noise that seemed to vibrate into the room. It was intermittent - on for approximately 10 minutes, then off for approximately 2 minutes - continuously throughout the night. The lifts. I have NEVER had to wait so long for a lift in my life! So much so that after waiting on the 9th floor for 10 minutes to go down, we moved up in the Roof Top lift to floor 11, and came down from there. Most bizarre. Finally - the temperature of the hotel, as indicated by the gauge in the RT lift was a constant 29degrees C. This is WAY to hot!

    Very good central location ... ideal for shopping!! Within walking distance to bars and restuarants. 1 minute away from the underground station.

    Rooms are small but it is quite typical in the main european cities where the main purpose of the visit would not be to stay and relax in the room but to explore the city.

    excellent venue which I will use again. Location presentation and facilities were all excellent

    Check in was slow and after travelling until late in the evening with a number of bags all I wanted to do was get to my room. When I eventually got checked in the clerk did not update my key card so on not being able to get access to my room a trip with bags had to be made downstairs along with another wait to be seen.

    Found all staff friendly and helpful. Hotel lobby appeared clean and welcoming.

    Although clean, our room appeared to have an unpleasant stale odour, which greeted you as soon as you entered the room.

    staff very good excellent position - location for the theatre and shopping

    no air conditioning - room extremely hot Ice machine not working At breakfast I lent against the counter top where breakfast was being served and although it appeared clean the under side of the ledge was covered in coffeee this stained a pair of very expensive white jeans. I reported this to the duty manager who was very understanding however could only offer to have the jeans cleaned Since i was on a one night stay this meant that for the whole of the second day I had to walk around with a large coffee stain across my tummy

    Good location, nice bar

    single rooms very small, no aircon and small windows if you are on the front of the hotel and you have the window open on a warm night you cant sleep for the street noise and if you close it you slowly roast

    We were told our room was a superior room, It was very small in size, the room was very hot, however there was a fan in the room but was not enough for the extreme heat.
