    "Stayed 2 nights in a Junior Suite (Room 204) while visiting the area hotel very comfortable staff amazing when trying to find hotel we got lost and ended up by the Basilica, so I walked to the hotel explained I was having difficulty driving there to drop off the bags. A member of staff then walked back to my car and sat in a and directed me to the hotel. took out the luggage and the came with me to the car park 200 mts away and that reflects the level of service this hotel provides. Breakfast provided are very fresh fruits, meat, cheese, etc. Each evening a turn down service was provided where the room/bathroom were tidied. Pool was a little small for serious swimmers(8 mts.) but the sitting area is quite large with plenty of loungers and chairs. " (108785447)

    sa situation dans ce village médiéval, au calme et pourtant tout près des centres culturels sportifs marins...;son parking privatif et souterrain, une carré piscine rafraîchissant en pleine cité et un très bon accueil

    malgré une restauration spectaculaire, un coté un peu "cheap" du mobilier, et la chambre mériterait une douche indépendante à la baignoire et de quelques produits d'accueil supplémentaires: mouchoirs,sèche-cheveux,peignoir, babouches bien qu'au niveau produits de toilettes cela soit bien (penser au renouvellement des cotons et divers produits lors d'un séjour de plus d'une nuit

    We enjoyed our visit. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is good and the coffee at breakfast was some of the best we were served in Spain. Castillo d'Empuries is a good location and I am sure that the hotel will be successful. Importantly, the wireless Internet is "solid" (good).

    We felt that the room cleaning service was inexperienced: they should never touch or move a guest's stuff unnecessarily. It creates anxiety, a risk that things will be broken, and a risk that guests will leave belongings behind in the room. (Maid staff moved some of our belongings into drawers and closets.) The hotel remodel is nicely done and colorful, but the Jacuzzi design in our room made it difficult to use the shower without getting a lot of water on the floor.

    "The town itself is very quiet, but good for a short stay." (107125850)

    This is a great place for an overnight stop if exploring this area of Spain. Try if you can to book room 103, it really is luxurious, and very spacious. The decor is very rich and the whole place is beautifully restored. The staff were very friendly and relaxed.

    Only niggle was I had to pay an extra 6 euros for the parking which wasn't mentioned on the booking.
