"We really liked this bed and breakfast. A one minute stroll to the metro station (very central station). The local neihbourhood is atmospheric with many lovely restaurants and cafes. Yes,the rooms are small, but this is more than compensated for by the reasonable prices and the cleanliness and frindliness of the place. If you can, book up the top floorrom which has a lovely private roof terrace for only 10 euro extra per night" (107678386)

"Would stay at Monti again. Very good value for money." (107753157)
Very good little guest house in a convenient location. Very helpful gentleman on the desk, nothing was too much trouble and his English was very good. Towels etc were changed when requested and there was a choice of croissants, tea, coffee etc for breakfast which was always served promptly in the room.
The one thing (and it wasn't too bad!) was the room was a little small with not enough space to have a table for the breakfast tray (breakfast is served in the room).

"A very nice hotel. The room was small. But we spent most of the days in the city, so it was no problem. The staff was very friendly and accommodating during our entire stay. Although their English was not so good, we had no problems communicating with them. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an affordable and pleasant stay in Rome." (107254103)

Location is strategic. Close to Termini station, 15 min. on a quiet street.
Everything is worn out. Sheets were with holes. Plastic folding shower door is dirty forever after many privious stays. Breakfast is: croisant,teaspoon of jam/butter, coffee. Staff speaks English a little bit.
