    "Good hotel, friendly staff, easy walking distance to town centre but still quiet. Only fault it that the booking website stated that the hotel has a 'Free Car Park'. This does not exist - there is on-road parking only. Staying at a weekend this is not a problem (unless you specifically wanted off-road parking as we did - its the reason we booked this hotel and not another), but during the week this area requires a parking permit."     I was offered a room whith an unmade bed and was told the room was the only one available. I complained and had to ask them to change the bedding before i took it and was told they did have another room I could have. The customer service was not great and I disappointed whith the staff.

    The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered in the hotel was very good. Nothing was too much trouble.

    The bathroom in our room was grubby and needed modernising somewhat.

    "The web-site could have provided better on-line booking rather than giving me the phone number. A more readily printable map with directions to the hotel from the airport, ferry or town-centre would be a major advantage. Pound for pound, it is difficult to fault this hotel." (97226231)

    Adequate and suitable for purpose at the price. Certainly above average for this type of B&B Hotel accomodation. Fine Host.

    The between-room soundproofing would have protected the privacy of some enthusiastic neighbours.

    "My wife & I, and 15yo daughter, definitely enjoyed our 3-night stay at the main Arrandale hotel. We were made very welcome, and enjoyed a clean & pleasant environment. We would be happy to stay there again." (107120406)

    Our hosts were very welcoming, and were keen to help us enjoy our stay and holiday experiences. Food was nice and good service.

    More an observation than a bad point...Our room and common areas were a little 'tired', but certainly not unpleasant, and everything worked as it should.

    "The hotel was clean and well run. staff were very attentive and prepared to come in early to provide early breakfasts for us on a sunday before the advertised time. close to all local amenities and some rooms had a sea view. All in all a hotel i would reccomend to my friends" (3304636908)

    "I would just like to thank the staff at the Arrandale for making our trip to the isle of man a very enjoyable one! even though we were only there for one night and the weather was not at its best we had a great trip and would recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to visit the island.     "My stay was a comfortable one. As a frequent traveller I stay in many hotels throughout the year. The Arandale was better than I expected and excellent value for money. Friendly (multilingual!)staff and great personal service. The availability of FREE high speed internet access was something I wouldn't have expected in a small hotel like this. It is somewhat hampered by the lack of parking facilities and the local parking laws which make it necessary to update one's parking disc every two hours during the daytime.
