    "I was really pleased to have booked a room in what I thought was a nice family run hotel. We had to turn it into a joke, as it was so bad, and we have stayed in some fairly grim places when economising in former years." (108758890)

    One very pleasant and helpful member of reception staff who also did waitressing for breakfsst. Nicely cooked though limited breakfast.

    This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at in terms of cleanliness (filthy stained carpets and dirty carpets, stained bedding,rubbish and piles of unfolded bedding in cupboards, dirty skirting with drips on that and walls, dirt and mould round windows, mould in shower etc, standard of furnishing and equipment - tacky damaged, could not fit in showerroom, lack of working order of equipment including door closing and locking - shower room and bedroom door, plumbing (dripping from sink in shower room, shower aiming horizontally and could not be changed)), electrical equipment - flickering lamp, TV with faulty connection needed playing with and only 2 channels working even then, shower functioning, toilet seat broken, etc. Also only 2 pillows, no extras in any way, tea and coffee facilities with dirty cups, ordinary unwrapped tea bags and an old biro on a not very clean looking tray

    Hotel needs updating and is expensive for what it is.

    "I wasn't expecting too much because of the amount we paid for the room plus full English breakfast so expected it to be rather old fashioned and dated " (108518029)

    The staff were extremely friendly and we were both given a drink on the house on our arrival

    The rooms were in need of a complete updating and windersills were very grubby and dusty but bed linen and towels were clean

    Not easy taking several cases of luggage up (and down) several flights of stairs

    staff were v friendly and assisted with anything we needed, hotel in good location, hotel bar open late, were able to leave our car in car park after we checked out & no extra charge for breakfast and parking

    hotel basic and in need of a bit of updating but this reflected in price and you get what you pay for!

    Hotel needs a refurbishment (paint & clean definately), stains on the ceiling, squeaky bed, fusty

    The service from the staff was excellent, very kind and helpful. I was going to a concert at wembley and the location was brilliant.

    The shower wasn't great! But it was okay, not a problem for one nights stay.

    Great welcome from the staff. Room was not quite ready (but we were half hour early) but we were given a complimentary drink/crisps. Lovely staff !!

    Very Friendly staff

    Dirty room Dirty coffee cups/saucers still with stains on, stains down the wall, dead insects in the bathroom, mould in the soap tray, previous occupants shower gel still left in bathroom, toothpase on taps, mould/dirt on windows, uncomfortable bed, television didnt work
