Staff excellent, appeared to be hard working, efficient and friendly
Hotel general in a poor state of repair. It really does need a good overhall in side. I'm sure that just redecorating would go along way to making a stay in the hotel more appealing.

"only a couple of comments really - the general quality of the food on offer at breakfast was of good quality & plentiful but I was sorry to see that slices of black pudding were being kept warm in the same tray as the mushrooms & tomatoes. If I was a vegetarian, or of a relegion that didnt eat pork products, I would only have been left with egg to eat!The staff were all friendly & welcoming throughout our stay & I would happily recommend the accomodation." comfortable room but the extractor fan in the en suite was very noisy & seemed to go on for ages!

Very warm friendly staff, good menu in the restaurant with good size portions,good value for money, good location
In need of some refurbishment and decoration, although menu was extensive the food did not quite live up to expectation.

The room was nicely decorated, bathroom was bright and clean with lovely fluffy new towels.
The receptionist was very friendly, but we found the staff at breakfast very grumpy, unfriendly and tired looking. Breakfast was very poor: hardly any plates left, bowl of fruit not refilled, nearly empty bowls and limited choice. The fried eggs had been sitting there for quite some time, even though we were well withing the allocated time for Breakfast. It doesn't take much to give guests a smile at Breakfast, make them fresh tea or coffee and to fry them an egg there and then. And it would greastly benefit the atmosphere in the Breakfast room.

Professional, Courteous, Efficient and Helpful staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Cleanliness of all rooms, and the ample quantities (and Quality) of food, both in the Restaurant and at the Bar.
