  "This was the stay from heaven. We were here on a conference presenting papers and were so well taken care of and comfortable. In July, Venice is over-run and coming back to the peace, elegance, and friendliness of Palazzo Paruta was so rejunvenating. It was like a sanctuary." (107532267)

  This is a gorgeous renovation of a historic palazzo done with great taste and design. The staff is outstanding, kind, helpful, efficient and go above and beyond. The food is way above the average, bountiful, available from 7-10:30. It is on a quiet canal in a peaceful square quickly accessible to direct service to the airport. Yet, within 5 minutes of all the major sites.

  The only bad points had nothing to do with the hotel or staff but with the Italian hotel industry bureaucracy. The hotel had just opened and the internet clearance had not come through. The staff went out of their way to make their computers available.
