    "We had an excellent stay. The staff were very welcoming and efficient and our room was extremely clean and well equipped. It was also nice not to have to get up too early on Saturday morning to have breakfast as this is served to 12midday." (107248623)

    Execllent presentation of building on entry. Room service excellent and staff very helpful.

    Not really 'bad' points, more an irritation. Check-in was a poor experience. two staff busy on telephone, did not make eye contact. I was the only person waiting, nevertheless, the receptionist who became free did not turn her attention to me, but to a gentleman who has just arrived at the desk. I waited a total of 10 mins before checkin was completed. Irritating when one is tired and travelled by public transport Wanted to turn off TV/Radio sound in bathroom and could not find out how to:

    "The hotel itself was lovely and very good value for money. The experience was only spoilt by the lack of help we received on the phone whilst trying to locate the hotel and my friends fall in the bathroom. However the Duty Mananger and all staff assisting when this happened were excellent. This is not a formal complaint as one has already been made." (107558280)

    The Tube stop close to the hotel was partly closed, which was a bit of a drawback since this was one of the reasons I picked this hotel.

    Excellent restaurant service. Breakfast more than adequate. Overall impression very good.

    Internet available to guests could have been better. Tried to download a PDF page from Iberia.com and the computer said not able to print PDF. Software not available. Guests need to be able to download fromm the on-line check in page.

    Comfortable and clean. Non-smoking. Location.

    A little pricey for non business users. Just one set of towels provided - more were promised but didn't arrive. We were not bothered and it saved laundry.

    Fantastic location, a stones throw from Tower Hill Tube Station. The room was large and comfortable, with all things you would expect including an ironing board and iron!! The staff were incredibly friendly and informative, especially the restaraunt manager. Food was reasonably priced and good value for money. I would definately stay at this hotel again.

    "I have stayed here a few times in the passed year, sometimes just for a night sometimes for a weekend. Everytime i have stayed the experience has been a good one. With staff being friendly and helpful. The room has always been of a high standard. The restuarant when we have eaten there has been excellant. I look forward to staying here again in the future."     The whole overall experience was a nice one. The rooms were nicely furnished and very comfortable. The service of staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again!

    Easy access to stansted via liverpool street station. Good location, quiet, but with easy and frequent access into west end for shows and restaurants.

    The stafff we found to be very helpful and friendly

    The pillows were not so good. General smell of cleaning materials in room.....would advice leaving window open after cleaning.

    "I specically asked for a room that did not overlook Pepys Street as we wish to have the window overnight and do NOT wish to be disturbed at 6am by the dustment! . . so WHY were we given a room overlooking Pepys Street!!!!! and not the side road as requested. The hotel reception should have a plan of the rooms on each floor and mature staff who have the ability to adhere to a simple request!" (99801312)

    "The hotel is in an ideal location being right next to the tower of london and the tower bridge. The tube station is right around the corner of reception and pepys restaurant in the hotel gave good food at reasonable prices for london. the front of hotel was spacious, clean and welcoming. One drawback would be to read the small print when booking to make sure breakfast is included as we booked it thinking breakfast was included but it was not. However,kids ate free and the breakfast was very good indeed, giving lots of choice for food and drink." (3305469771)

    The room was ideal having a separate toilet to the bathroom and there were 4 of us in the party and the room was equiped with a double bed and 2 single beds which were very comfortable and clean, the rooms were cleaned every day and the beds made.

    I felt that because there was four of us in the party, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, there was not enough space to walk pass the beds

    The first room that we were given smelt of a substance that could have been gas or a fuel. It could have been coming from the air conditioning or may be a hotel generator. The responsiveness of the receptionist was excellent and we were moved to another room. She even offered to personally take our bag to the new room, which I thought was above the call of duty. We had no issues with the replacement room and our scoring above was based on this room.

    "The hotel was really well located close to the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and local attractions in that area. It was quite away from the other attractions e.g. Trafalgar Square etc but the public transport stops were right outside the hotel so that was not a problem. There was a resaurant in the hotel but if you did not want to eat there it was close to plenty of pubs and restaurants." (3305177598)

    The hotel was very nice indeed.

    The staff english was very poor. Half of them did not understand what I was asking them. The staff at breakfast were hovering around me waiting to take my plate. Made me feel uncomfortable. The car park is a 10 min walk away. Not good if its raining.
