    Food and room good as usual

    room was cold and I was unable to adjust heating. Staff seemed a little distracted, party season? Understand cost control is important and in December tempretures have been dropping!

    "We were staying at the hotel as part of a wedding party and to be honest this experience was no advert to host any party here let alone your wedding. Night manager was rude and un helpful." (108869420)

    Actual value for money was excellent as included breakfast.

    Night manager not very hospitable. Cleanliness of bathroom very poor, menu for room service not active only sandwiches which are not even on menu. Also staff in resteraunt not very helpful.

    "Apart from the breakfast scenario, our stay was generally a very pleasant one. The hotel was close to the main motorway links, so made travelling very easy. The outside patio area was very nice to sit at in the evening, it was pleasantly decorated with flowers and nice tables and chairs. There was a good atmosphere too." (108859220)

    The hotel was clean and had excellent spa facilities.Our room had everything that we required and the bed was very comfy. The room was very clean and pleasant. Overall the hotel was very good.

    My biggest dissapointment was at breakfast the next day. We were due at a function at 11am The biggest disappointment was breakfast the next day, we were due at a function for a certain time. On arrival at breakfast we were told that there weren't enough tables to accommodate us and that we would have to wait along with at least three other families.This nearly made us late for the function. I felt that breakfast was very rushed because of this. The staff were clearly unable to cope. I have never come across a hotel where there aren't enough tables for all their guests.

    The room smelt of a combination of damp and paint. The room layout was a little odd, and although there was an ironing board there was no iron. The receptionist was a little surly

    The Breakfast restaurant staff were very good

    The rooms need air conditioning, the toilet seat was loose, the shower screen leaked at the bottom, and the lift was slow. The car parking for the hotel is opposite the fitness suite entrance, it would be sensible if the entrance combined both facilities as taking the luggage up the steps was difficult to manage and the hotel reception area seemed a waste of space. I asked how disabled guests are accommodated as there seemed to be no obvious entrance signs for them.

    very good hotel facilities. nice food. good leisure facilites. clean.

    got woken up at 10 in the morning to the sound of blearing music downstairs which was bad. complained to reception but nothing got changed. security guard had a bad attitude towards me and friends

    I do like village hotels very clean and tidy and well suited for business travellers

    Had to wait some time for coffee in the morning but think this was due to the no of staff

    Very considerate staff, very helpfull indeed.

    room was freezing all evening, and plates got left in my room overnite, after requesting for them to be removed from my room.

    reception staff where polite and helpful on check in and departure and the reception area was clean and tidy

    we attened the boogie nights evening and i thought that havin to ask for the condiments and wait for them while my meal was getting cold was alittle unacceptable as the staff was so busy in my apinion i think they should have been on the table.

    Very disturbed nights sleep due to Abba Tribute event taking place and noisy guest early in the morning Strong smell of vomit in the corridor near reception in the motning

    Very friendly and helpful staff on the whole

    Check in at reception was difficult due to a very abrupt receptionist who did not take time and make us feel welcome. This was acknowledged by a member of staff who happened to be nearby.

    thought the hotel was really lovely,clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. the breakfast was excellent. the rooms were nice and spacious and also clean

    the only bad point was that we were put in a disabled room. the bedroom area was spacious but the bathroom wasnt really,and the bathroom sink was tiny,but we were closer to the residents bar and dining area which was a good point. also we had an ironing board in our room but you had to ask reception for an iron,which we did but had to wait about 45 mins for it.
