    Very good welcome, everything we needed was provided, including access to internet. Excellent breakfast and the high point was seeing red squirrels feeding in the back garden!

    Room was cold, beds were uncomfortable, room smelt 'stale'. Shower temperature preset at lukewarm, not possible to have a hot shower. Shower leaked, leaving bathroom floor wet

    Cleanliness was very good and Lynn was very helpful and friendly.

    The water from shower didnt have any force and I think the beds are getting old.

    "very handy as a base to visit the highlands, loch ness, aviemore, skiing, ben nevis etc. small enough to make you feel like just part of the family, highly recommended!! where else would you watch red squirrels whilst eating your breakfast?" (99386743)

    hosts were warm, friendly, inviting and wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, our room had all little extras that made it home from home, no complaints whatsoever thanks to them

    "My fiance and I stayed at the guesthouse for 3 days in the lead up to our wedding. It was in a beautiful location with plenty of wildlife in the garden to watch at breakfast time. The owners were very friendly and helpful and when they found out we were getting married they even bought us a lovely card. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone who is looking for a value for money and peaceful short break in the scottish highlands." (3304390454)

    "This is a wonderful place to stay. We were lucky to be in a room overlooking the back garden, so had prime viewing of the wildlife (four red squirrels; one rabbit, countless birds - finches, tits, sparrows, etc.) The information provided at the time of booking was completely accurate. We can also testify to the quality of the porride made by the landlady, Lynn, who is the World Champion!" (2914404)

    "The Pines offers good clean centrally located accommodation for touring the highlands,There are , as with most guest houses some minor issues which need to be addressed but on the whole i am sure most people would enjoy thier stay at The pines.The food is of a good standard,there is a good supply of information for things to do and places to go ,an information sheet on distance to and opening times of shops ,bar , hotels etc was most helpful."     Apart from the family room this guest house offers good clean well located accommodation with friendly owners.

    The Family Room?the door to the balcony has been warped by the weather resulting in a gap around the top third of the door ,this leads to draughts and excess road noise,It should be replaced immediatly ),the weather vane on roof directly above the room squeeks rattles and clunks all night when breezy,the main heating radiator cold on bottom warm on top needs looked at,and their appears to be hot water issues arround the property,the general cleanliness of this room (ie dust on sufaces,cobwebs)not as good as the other rooms.
