    "la stanza assegnata era al piano interrato detto "B", dalla finestra sembrava di essere in cantina in più il letto era singolo e lo spacciavano per matrimoniale!dopo 1 ora di polemiche ci hanno dato una camera al 2 piano. Qui il letto era ad una piazza e mezza... incredibile per un 4 stelle!la doccia era otturata e pur lamentandoci non è stata riparata. Nella reception c'era pure un'italiana la quale ha finto di essere inglese per renderci la vita ancora più difficile! Ragazzi non ci andate per quello che si paga non merita!" (108969277)

    The room was so small that it had a double bed in it which I COULD NOT GO AROUND HAD TO CRAWL OVER IT TO GET TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROOM . When I got in my room there was two large suitcases which did not belong to me I rang reception and was told that my room was being used as a bag storage room. I was then getting undressed and with out knocking a man opened the door and tried to come in !!!!! what was going on I do not know

    Comfortable clean room.

    First room I was shown to was dirty with ripped carpet (I'd booked a deluxe single). No lift and multiple stairs (up and down and up again) to reach room.

    Location re nearest tube

    Small bedroom and very very small bathroom - couldn't get door fully open as it hit the toilet and you had to get in and out of the shower sideways (felt like a coffin once in - you couldn't bend down or anything!).

    staying on the basement floor, the kids upstar were running early in the morning which is very noisy

    Location. Clean. Reasonabale shower

    Room so small we had to take it in turns to walk around. No storage space. Told on arrival that we would be moved to a Kensington hotel instead of Paddington when location was the sole reason for booking this hotel. A minor protest produced a room at once.

    I had a problem with my credit card, and the reception were very patient and polite, even asking me if it was okay to serve another guest while I was on the phone.

    Shower hose was faulty - To be fair, I did not report this

    hotel is located close to tube stations, the hotel is clean

    rooms are very tiny, check in time is not good for persons who arrive early in the morning, they have to wait untill 1400 hours to get the booked room.

    RECEPTION STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND EXTREMELY PLEASANT. ROOM WAS EXCELLENT, NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER. hOTEL IS IDEALLY SITUATED FOR HYDE PARK AND PUBS AND RESTAURANTS IN A VERY GOOD AREA.

    the housekeeping staff was v. bad. they did not clean the room at all--that romanian staff. dey would not provide towels, not change the sheeets and were v.v. dirty.

    We chose the hotel as it advertised being 300m from the Paddington raliway station and the Heathrow express I was really reassured that thaey hadn't exagerated and it made getting there and away easy

    Ther was minimal information on services offered both in and aroung the hotel. Often a short list of services provided around dthe hotel is provided and quite useful for travellers ie: laundry, taxi number, cinema, shopiing centers etc

    The staff was very friendly and accomodating, and the room was comfortable (especially the bathroom) and we enjoyed having the flat-screen tv with a nice selection of channels. The free Internet access in the lobby area was a definite plus, as well. The location of the hotel was very good, as well.

    The room was rather small for the price we were paying--friends of mine have paid less for much larger rooms in London. For London standards (I have stayed in other hotels in the area before), the cleanliness was pretty good, although it could be improved upon. The room had not been vacuumed as much as it could have been--there were small bits of paper on the floor in the room, and there was even a bit of hair behind the bathroom door every day. The biggest problem I gound was that for our entire stay the lift was broken and we were on the second floor. The staff said that it would have been repaired, but in four days this never came to be. It would have also been nice to have a small fridge in our room.

    The room was well appointed and had good facilities.

    The room was small and the hotel started refurbishment work which made access difficult and meant there were piles of wood outside my room for part of the time. When I first arrived I was told that I was to be transferred to the Kensington hotel but I had specifically booked this hotel as it was near Paddington-while it was easily put right- I did not appreciate my booking being changed without anyone asking me first.

    clean and glasses plates and spoons and forks are in a cabinet.

    As I lwanted to leave the hotel in the evening I asked the staff to extend the time for some hours. He accepted but cleaning staffs often knocked the door. The receptionist didin't tell about it. It annoyed me alot.

    did not have the correct rooming list at check in - a number of the facilities was not working i.e air conditioning - very hot night a number of the units in the smaller rooms poured water, key cards for the two rooms did not work and took a long time to get working

    After complaining about state of original room, was moved promptly and efficiently

    Original room was in a real state with workmen having been in and it not being cleaned afterwards. No tv, phone and lights not plugged in, fire alarm not working.

    Outside of hotel was slightly off putting as paint appeared to be peeling off externally.The decor in the bathroom was firstclass.

    I was placed ina ground floor room which had a window directly viewed from the street. To maintain privacy I had to keep the curtains closed. One of the curtains was already half falling down from the rail so there was no complete privacy.
