    Staff quick to react when rectifying problems Breakfast on second morning - very good. Mind you we were at the front of the queue.

    Day 1 and 2 only one hand towel supplied. Morning papers ordered for both days of stay - only one turned up Room very small. No dinner available on second night due to function. Sandwiches offered. Breakfast on first morning - dreadful- no eggs, no bacon, vert tired black pudding, sausage unable to cut. Coffee undrinkable.

    "Setting of hotel and state of rooms were good . check in etc , changing facilities were very poor. i appreciate it was very busy but breakfast on the following morning was also chaos . It was a special occasion and reception staff were unhelpful. " (97710537)

    Rooms were clean and had drink facilities.Large hotel and clean.Good leisure facilities.

    We could not check in on arrival.we had a wedding at 13:00 and had nowhere to get changed as there was not a room spare to get changed in. We had to change in the leisure centre and check in after our wedding at 01:00am with the bride and other guests it was chaos. The same for breakfast in the morning not enough organisation as everyone was waiting to find tables etc and queing up for food.

    Room very pleasant and air conditioned. Food very good and nicely presented.

    A spa pool was advertised. When I entered this, I noticed there was black scum around the pool, the water was very milky and there "bits" floating in the water. Very unpleasant. This was reported to Reception.

    "After staying in a Best Western only once before which ws very disappointing, i was a little concerned about this one. I needn't have been as it was a very pleasant surprise. Pleasant stay and hassle free." (97865496)

    The staff were very friendly. Those working in the restaurant were very attentive and friendly. Food was good and varied. Pretty gardens to be enjoyed on sunny days. The hotel although busy never felt crowded.

    The hotel reception and dining facilities were good.

    "Initally, we were not too impressed, due to the state of the unclean bathroom, but once relocated, we found the place & food very good. There were no available car spaces due to a function that evening,which I found disappointing, but overall I would probably stay there again, if I could have the same room." (97490397)

    "The staff where all friendly, polite, helpful and well presented no matter what time of day you saw them. The hotel itself was close to the town centre witch made the hotel easy to get to without being so close that you could here the traffic or night life of Bromley. The weather stopped me and my partner from exploring the grounds but what we saw looked excellent and we are shore that the rest would have been just as impressive. The food was well presented and very tasty, we ordered room service witch arrived within 10 minutes of me hanging up the phone witch was excellent." (97672582)

    The room had a very nice view (room 319), it was a good size room with every thing we needed + more for our stay.

    It was a non-smoaking room. I know that thats not your fault but its the only thing i could think of.

    The room was very small and not air conditioned. Because of this we opened the window(it was very warm weather)and were then kept awake by chatting smokers outside the reception, which was below. The hotel did find us a better room next day.

    "I really enjoyed my stay with you. the rooms and resturants were / are excellent. I particularly enjoyed the garden area. You were cental to many areas of interest and of easy access. I would have liked more information on the spa facilities.     It was ok, staff friendly, bed linen was clean.

    Not much room for car parking, room was a bit shabby and dado rail was covered in DUST! House keeping knocked on our door 3 times in half an hour, we orderd breakfast in bed this came twice, not great communication.

    "We left our room at 11.00 a.m. precisely - check out time. Therefore I was a bit annoyed that we were disturbed at 10.20 a.m. by an eager cleaner and then at approximately 10.50 a.m. by the housekeeper!" (99179999)

    The room was very basic, small and the window tiny. More shelves in the bathroom would have been useful.

    We only came to stay for one night, and checking in and out went very smoothly. The room had everything we needed - the bed was extemely comfortable - and the air conditioning made the room comfortable to spend time in ( so many hotel rooms are so hot )Breakfast was exellant, with a good variety of choices.

    The room was tastefully decorated and very clean the bars and lobbies were comfortable and the food in the restaurant was nicely presented and the staff friendly and helpful. we thought the grounds were beautiful and well kept.

    Clear & Tidy

    Room service did not start until 6.30pm. The Hotel bar was closed when we checked at 5.55pm. The restaurant was not open until 6.30pm.

    Cleanliness. Saturday evening DJ excellent

    Door card didn't work - had to return to Reception for another one. Sunday paper ordered but not delivered. Saturday steak meal quite tough. Room 118 quite cold on first evening but next day was fine.

    The bath.

    The window surrounds were extremely dirty, the window opened too far out and could pose a danger, very small room and dogs barking in neighbouring property caused disturbance when window was open.

    "Soundproofing being non-existent, whoever walked past the room at all hours of the night we heard their every fascinating word. Being positioned in room 102, over the smokers' corner by the main entrance (basically a raised flower bed with no flowers, into which stubs could be shoved) we were treated to loud drunken conversations for hours (and hours and hours) until around 3.30 in the morning. Towels were barely bath-sized. Breakfast, in pleasant enough surroundings, was substantial but luke-warm." (99823100)

    It was clean apart from the remaindered hairs on the bathroom floor from the previous occupant. Charmed.

    It was small. The bed was not a full sized double, as one would not have fitted. The bathroom was ill-lit, ill-ventilated, poky.

    "I have stayed before, as I realised when I got off the train at Bromley South, and it was ok. I ate in the restaurant, but the waitresses were rather miserable, and I was asked how my meal was, without them either making eye contact, nor waiting for an answer. The curry was bland, the meat tasteless, and the vegetables, although all different colours (Cauliflower, swede and potato. I wasn't sure why I was getting them seeing as I had rice already) they all tasted pretty ghastly. I wish I had gone for a sandwich in the bar, although the organisation was a little hit and miss there too as a man ordered room service and his food ended up in the bar with thge wrong person, and another grew tired of waiting and came down to get his food. Only one young waiter was pleasant and attentive, making jokes etc. He made the breakfast a pleasant experience(I think he was Australian or Kiwi)and he seemed to enjoy chatting to the other guests. A bit of a star really!" (99281175)

    Nice room, comfortable bed. Most staff ok. Reception very efficient.

    Food was very bland, even the curry. I really wish there was another choice close by, but there seemed to be only a fish and chip shop.

    After reading abut a major refurbishment I found that the room was just basic and therefore disappointed.
