    "enjoyed our stay the hotel was central to everything we needed and plenty of places to eat and we were very comfortable. would reccommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good hotel." (107817038)

    have stayed in a lot of hotels and this one ticks all of the boxes.

    if there was anything i had to have a moan about it would be that there was no air conditioning in the room. the night we stayed was very warm and it would have come in very useful.

    STAFF POLITE AND EFFICIENT. ROOM AND EN-SUITE WELL CLEANED

    TOILET FLUSH REQUIRED CONSIDERABLE STRENGTH TO OPERATE. SLIDING SCREEN DOOR ON SHOWER FRONT WOULD BE FAR MORE HYGENIC THAN THE PLASTIC CURTAIN. SHOWER CURTAIN DID NOT CONTAIN THE SHOWER WATER,BUT ALLOWED IT TO RUN ON TO AND FLOOD EN-SUITE FLOOR. THERE WERE NO CUPBOARDS,OR DRAWERS IN THE ROOM AND ONLY A TINY RAIL WITH 4 CLOTHES-HANGERS. EXTRACTOR FAN IN EN-SUITE NOT OPERATING. ONLY ONE CHAIR IN DOUBLE ROOM; SO IT WAS SIT ON YOUR SUITCASE, OR SIT ON THE BED!!

    From start to finish everything was first class - As an individual away for a Christmas Shopping trip I felt most secure.

    None really - to nit pic and I am sure if I asked these points would have been resolved. Only 2 pillows on Double Bed - fine for 1 person and several light bulbs were not working.

    the cost of the stay was extremely reasonable. breakfast was adequate, reception staff were pleasant. reception area clean and tidy.

    things went missing from our room (pakcet of chocolate biscuits opened and two taken out, bottle of sprite, two or three mini packets of chocolate hobnobs. I know this may sound petty but it made us wonder if our other propery was being looked at. Recported this to reception who reported to housekeeper. Whilst the receptionist apologised I did expect to hear from the housekeeper to ask for more details etc. Heard nothing - was this taken seriously or ignored?? Did not leave a good impression whatsoever. Room was in need of decoration - splashes of some kind of liquid on walls, paint scratched on other parts, carpet dirty in parts.

    "The key wasn't activated on arrival, had to go back down to reception. The room overlooked the railway line, with trains running all night. Hen party booked in on second night.They were arguing and banging on doors at 3.40am, called reception who said they would send security, non observed, the noise went on until 4.20am. You could smell cannabis in the hallway outside our room. Breakfast was deplorable, one of the staff came out with a loaf of bread fetched out a handful of bread squeezed it, put it back squeezed the loaf again and then decided to put out the obviously stale bread anyway. This member of staff had on a pair of trousers that barely covered her bottom. one expects to see a "Builders Bum" on a building site but not whilst eating breakfast. We went to a nearby restaurant and had breakfast both mornings, as we couldn't stand listening to the "F"ing & Blinding from people who were obviously friends of the on duty staff." (107635040)

    "The Hotel was within 2 minutes of the A1 with several good resturants on the same estate. The Hotel staff where all polite and helpfull.     The hotel was very clean with nice decor and layout. The overall facilities were very good.

    The receptionist was not very polite when we checked in so that put a bad feeling about the hotel on us straight away.

    The hotel was very clean. The breakfast area was very welcoming!

    Drainage in the shower basin was delayed.

    "It was a very pleasant stay. Good to have a restaurant and pub nearby so people don't have to go too far if on a short stay. The Metro Centre was walking distance which was handy. The hotel was nicely kept which is always very important and will obviously leave a lasting impression when thinking about future visits. The staff were helpful and friendly, there was more than one person on reception which I always think is good, nothing worse than having to hang around. Overall a very nice stay." (97397446)

    Wasn't too fussy but clean and tidy, comfortable. Staff were helpful and we were very glad we could order drinks at the residents bar until quite late. This is a nice touch for people that would like to relax in the bar or in their rooms.
