    "We were fine about the mix up but I can imagine that some clients would have made a big fuss over it butwe all had a laugh and said it was a good thing that the lady had not just come out pof the shower as she might have dropped the towel in fright." (108701917)

    Nice continental breakfast in pleasant bright room

    The Booking was filed under the Christian name but eventualy found us ongivinher the ref no. Then the room had been changed from 108 to 228 . we went to 108 and the key did not work, once reprogrammed we entered the room to find a coat and suitcase in it. we returned to reception where she discovered that she should have sent us to 228 and so reprogammed the key again and the room was fine.

    East to reach from motorway. Park and ride nearby. Pub/restaurant adjacent. Comfortable room. Friendly staff.

    Lift did not come when we checked in and we had to use stairs. Luckily it was only 1 flight we had to climb. Sounded like staff were loading lift with something.

    Cleanliness of the room and hotel in general, staff were very friendly

    Pillows!! They were filled with concrete and made for a VERY uncomfortable night.

    We felt that the room and hotel on the whole was very good,this was our first stay at this type of hotel and we were pleasantly surprised.

    The only bad point for us was eating breakfast in the reception, which is something we had not experienced before but it did not put us off staying there again.

    this was booked by a travel company and prepaid on arrival could not locate one reservation took a few minutes the hotel was not convenient to our airport and the shuttle was the city bus system and not good for wheelchair or luggage. The concierge was excellent and helped us alot but overall effort was lost by the bigger issues we had to overcome. The taxie was on time but very expensive and we had been assured we could use the shuttle until we got there . The staff were great helped alot but when you fly into or out of Gatewick and have a hotel by Heathrow it is very poor arranging especially for departure in the early am.

    No shuttle service for wheelchair persons staff very accomadating but location is an issue In London prepaying did us a disservice in this location phone cards can't be used in the rooms and this is not helpful. A small fee for an outside line with the use of the card would have helped alot.

    It is difficult to assess all the good points with just the overnight stay but everything from check-in to check-out seemed good.

    Again with just the overnight stay there did not seem any obvious bad points to note. One thing I must add if at all possible especially at this time of the year that booked rooms could have a low heat on. I found it quite cold on entering room and so had to hunt for the heater dial but soon heated up.

    Your staff were very nice and pollite, anything we wanted they were more than happy to get for us.

    The room heating was a bit poor, as we had to put it on full all night to be comfortable.

    "Good value for the room. Easy to find on the highway. The bus boy in the breakfast room was very prompt in picking up the dirty dishes and trays and keeping the tables clean. He really hustled." (107112432)

    The room was very neat and clean.

    There was about 3 places where trash was left in the parking lot and it was there for two days. Also papers in the bushes. At breakfast there were grapefruit slices and the next 3 days there was no fruit.

    Sofa bed in our room was stained. Whilst apprecitate not easy to have child safety facilities, some minor things such as putting kettles/hair dryer cords out of reach would be helpful

    Modern decor and guest bedrooms, Excellent buffet breakfast, good car parking facilities, friendly and efficient staff on duty.

    Telephone and lift both out of order, partition walls between bedroms must be very thin as we could clearly hear people in adjoining rooms i.e snoring!!!
