    Really friendly helpful staff. Room well eqiipped. nice and quiet and only a short taxi ride to Swansea FC which was the reason for our stay

    Hotel was clean & tidy. Staff pleasant Facilities in room fair.

    Stayed 3 nights & given only 1 small soap, 1 Bath/Shower gel, 1 conditioner for the 2 of us. Waiting staff not that good.

    "Enjoyable and not far from shopping or Swansea. I would advise using a sat nav to get through the industrial estate to the hotel although it is signposted as 'Hotel'" (107551880)

    Facilities were good considering what we paid for the room. The evening meal was excellent, cooked fresh and well worth the price. The overall look of the bar and dining room was very inviting, very comfortable.

    Breakfast was an issue, we didn;t have breakfast it was far too expensive and there was no cheaper alternative at the Hotel. It was easier to pop to Morrisons, 2 mins away for full breakfast at £3.50

    "very friendly staff throughout the hotel. They didn't mind answering questions or assisting in anything we needed. A very pleasant stay. My only gripe is the booking online stated a double bed on arrival it was a twin, but that was rectified no problems." (99843124)

    "We had a very pleasant stay. The location was both central to Swansea and close to the Gower. The staff were courteous and positive at all times. The room was very clean and the restaurant service was good. The only issue that we had during our two day stay was the dinner that we had on Tuesday 10th. This was resolved by the duty manager with efficiency and courtesy to our entire satisfaction. In brief: The lamb was very tough and fatty which spoilt the rest of the dish. This was resolved by the duty manager discussing the situation with the chef then deducting the cost of the main course from our bill. The follow on action was for the chef to discuss the provision of the lamb with the butcher. Very good value for money and we would like to stay at your hotel in the future. Might I make a suggestion: That you include a 'very good' category in between 'good' and 'excellent'." (3305462629)

    More a comment than a 'dislike' : Could not open the window when raining without getting water in the room, so kept it shut.

    "The staff were very helpful, writing directions for where we had to go etc. The dining room was very nice, plenty of selection at breakfast and if any thing had gone they cooked fresh upon request. The room was quite big." (99037716)

    "although situated away from town, location was ideal for local shopping and for general relaxation both during the day and evening. I found that the general atmosphere was good with very little disruption and noice to interfere with our enjoyment. Although we did not take advantage of all the facilities available we found that those that we did take advantage of were very good and found the staff to be friendly and very helpfull Altogether a very pleasant stay."     "The room and facilities are good. The leisure pool is very clean, although the water in the pool was cold. I don't like the fact that you have to provide your own towels for use of the leisure facilities, or those from your room as you never lose the chlorine smell. There was only one bath towel provided in the room for 2 adults and despite a request to the housemaid on the second day of our stay, further supplies were not provided. (The receptionist did mention that she had a similar complaint from another resident). The check-out process was very slow with only one receptionist to deal with everyone at what is probably the busiest time of the day." (3304719633)

    "Hotel was good and facilities as expected for a Ramada/Jarvis. Most of the staff were friendly and professional. Excellent breakfast, and good food (dinner), but a bit expensive. Hotel site was on a major (vast) and busy retail/commercial park. Not very easy to find but the hotel signs did help when actually on the retail park." (3304950241)

    Hotel was not 'lake side' as suggested, Gardens & out door seating boring. Lack of air conditioning, we seem to need this more and more...

    "A very nice hotel, excellent breakfasts and dinners, lots of choice, always a carvery, specials and a la carte. Nothing is too much trouble. Nice swimming pool but a little small.     Breakfast was good

    The only problem I had was I didnot realise how far this hotel was from the centre of the town there was nothing around it

    "My husband and I stayed one Friday night at this hotel with our two sons 16 and 20. The location is very accessible off the M4 and the directions were spot on from the email print out. We would have preferred to be within walking distance of Swansea but there was no availability in the city center due to heavy bookings for people going to the European Rugby Cup Final the following day in Cardiff. The bedrooms were clean and had all mod cons, tea/coffee etc, and considering the hotel was full on the night were surprisingly soundproofed. The compact leisure facility with pool, gym and sauna is an added bonus. There was a huge selection for breakfast and the staff were very efficient." (3304591800)

    We liked that the Hotel has a leisure center including small pool sauna and compact gym. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

    A bit too far from the center of Swansea when staying with older children.

    "My stay at the Ramada hotel was for business in the Swansea area and my time between check in and check out was less than 12 hours so did not have the opportunity to use the lesure facilities. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. I did eat both evening meal and breakfast in the hotel resturant which was of a very high standard with friendly and efficient staff. If I was planning to stay in the Swansea area again I would certainely plan to stay at the Ramada." (3304824837)

    An excellent value for money hotel with very good facilities and ideal for both business and pleasure. The hotel provided good sized room which were very clean and comfortable. The staff were extreamely helpful and friendly.

    Whilst the hotel is located within easy driving distance of central Swansea, there are very few facilities within easy walking distance.

    "I would like to have known that there would be two wedding receptions at the hotel that weekend. We arrived early to use the pool as my daughter is disabled and loves to swim when possible. The pool was packed with children and adults from the afternoon wedding reception. As the pool is quite small we were unable to use it. This was a big disappointment. In the bar at the evening (which is a fair size) people were greeted by the bride and groom for the evening wedding reception. There were quite a few people there until they went into the room provided, so little seating area left for hotel guests. We choose the hotel because of the facilities (pool mainly) which we were unable to use." (99057126)

    Room was large and hotel grounds were welcoming. Parking was easy.

    Smoking and non-smoking rooms are next to each other. Although we received a non-smoking room as requested we could still smell smoke from the room next door in our room. Should arrange room differently.
