    "Een vriendelijk hotel vlak bij het centrum. Prima voor een tussenstop, niet voor langer verblijf. Oordopjes zijn een absolute aanrader!" (97609184)

    Het hotel is schoon en het personeel vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is erg goed. Er is een klein zwembad wat netjes onderhouden is.

    Het hotel is erg gehorig en oud. De kamer was klein en er is geen koelkast op de kamer.De luiken zijn moeilijk dicht te maken.

    The Staff were absolutely lovely, extreamly helpful & kind. They helped me a great deal with where to eat, booking taxis & translation.

    The walls were a little thin so noise from slaming doors & tvs could have been a problem if I had stayed for longer. This was the only downfall of the Hotel.

    Suitable location for Bergerac centre

    charged 4Euros for use of 'garage' for overnight storage of 2 pedal cycles (Velos). No other hotel made such a charge for the 2 weeks we were cycle touring in France. This is the same charge as for a car, but space used bears no comparison

    No shower curtain in bathroom so floor ended up soaking. Decor a bit dated.

    staff and proprietors very friendly and helpful...

    one or two points like the instruction for wifi connection were vague in both french and english, although I managed without much effort I could imagine that some people would find it difficult. also there is no offer of food, minibar or such service for a traveller arriving late who has not eaten or drank...

    good location, private parking, clean, b/fast good ,simple. fresh.

    room on small side. we were attacked by mosquitoes. probably not the hotels fault but the pool is nearby. !

    "Stayed one night before leaving early for flight from Bergerac airport, so I wasn't there for long. Not highly polished, but good value, and perfectly acceptable for my purposes. " (97853063)

    The room was pleasant and decor looked fresh. Quiet location, but within easy walking distance of market and old town. The swimming pool at the back was a real bonus, a good size with plenty of loungers.

    No shower curtain and no drain, so the bathroom was awash. Plumbing generally seemed a bit antiquated though plenty of hot water. Advertised as having a view of the cathedral, when actually you can just see the spire from several streets away.

    staff were friendly and helpful. Swimming pool and garden facilities were excellent and we were not made to hurry away the following day. Good to have internet.

    Second bedroom was very small in family room.

    Travelled with elderly relatives and staff could not have been more kind or friendly. Rooms, building and small pool and garden area were spotless, well maintained and cleaned very thoroughly daily.

    No lift, no iron or tea or coffee in rooms. Rather old fashioned and breakfast very limited choice. Basic.

    Dismayed by Insect killer sprays outside every door! Not a positive first impression. Staff took five minutes to appear at reception desk when I arrived.

    Near to town and railway station as we came from Bordeaux by train. The pool and the air-conditioning were appreciated as the summer weather was warm. The reception area and general areas gave a light and modern impression. Good level of attention from the staff.

    Some technical facilities in the room needed adjusting to work correctly, which I did before using them.

    Location was good, 10 mins walk to old town. 10 mins drive to airport. Friendly staff, nice pool.

    Bit noisy, could here people in next room talking, they wern't particulary noisy just walls thin.

    It was a good value for the money and centrally located.

    The bathroom arrangement was odd - the toilet and wash facilites in separate rooms - also no shower curtain or enclosure so water all over the place and a rather high bathtub to step into to take a shower was rather difficult for an elderly person. As in many hotels in Europe no elevator makes it a little difficult for disabled persons.

    The hotel had excellent parking facilities and the staff was very helpful.

    This is a hotel that is perfect for a stay in the country, but guests need to understand that they are not staying in a city hotel. Given the right frame of mind, it is an excellent choice. Sometimes we Americans are not in the proper frame of mind and our expectations are not met. Also the Exchange rate increases the cost of items in Europe relative to the US at the present time.

    "I felt welcome, comfortable and safe. The room was clean and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the help given by the person at the reception desk in marking the nearest ABM locations on a map.     I felt welcome immediately. The young man at the reception desk took my bags to my room. When I asked about the nearest ABM he brought me a map right away and marked out the locations of the nearest ones, assuring me that it would be safe to use them. I found the room, including the bed, comfortable and clean. I was able to get BBC World on the TV. In the mrning the staff, including the maid and the staff serving breakfast were friendly and helpful

    I would prefer not to have to use stairs, but my room was one floor up and at the top of the stairs, where I felt safe.
