    "The room was so beautiful we hated to leave after two nights. We were booked in the least expensive room and cannot imagine what more the higher priced rooms had to offer. Room was beautifully decorated by acclaimed Belgian interior designer. The bed was a luxurious king sized bed, room was large and bathroom was equally as large. With only seven guest rooms, we felt we were in a grand home rather than in a hotel. Great value for the price. The special internet rate was only 75 euros per night. Highly recommended." (97256891)

    "The meals we took in the hotel's restaurant'Pegasus' were nothing less than exquisite. The chef, one Bert Recour, produced the two best set 6 course meals of incredible quality we have ever sampled. These meals included superb wines at each course chosen to enhance the various flavours and also many extra 'flavours' between courses. What a treat....(and only cost 90 euros each for these meals of a lifetime.) The waiting staff were outstanding and as the excellent wine flowed and the magnificent food just kept coming, we became aware that we were experiencing something very special indeed. Good breakfasts also." (97056762)

    The hotel and staff provide a highly elegant yet at the same time, cosy, atmosphere where one is made to feel extremely spoilt and comfortable. Beautiful public rooms and garden. Huge and comfortable bed. EXCELLENT restaurant. The hotel was also positioned very well for those visiting the 1st WW sites in surrounding areas.

    We disliked the 'impracticality' of the bedroom furnishings which although they looked stunning, left no room for the guests' personal belongings.The 'staging' of the rooms should take into account some space for a ladies' cosmetics and our toiletries( tooth brushes, brushes, shampoos, shaving stuff etc) and provide shelves or at least a surface to accomodate these things. No private carpark though next to a pay/display public carpark.

    "Utterly fantastic, by far the best and friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in! We will definately be returning." (82603091)

    The hotel was absolutely amazing - I've stayed in some really nice hotels, but this one outshone them all. The room was absolutely immaculate, the decor fantastic, the staff friendly and efficient and the food was to die for!

    The fact that my Husband could borrow a war film and therefore not attend to my needs!!

    "The decor, the service and especially the food were outstanding. The rooms were large and friendly. The access was easy, although we went on a carnival time where there was no close parking. that said, we parked close enough. The double glazing kept out the carnival noise very well." (99368209)
