    "Good value for money, especially taking into account that the £ is worth 30% less now. £50 a night now but would have been £35 two years ago. Would probably chose a more expensive hotel in future as I like the extras of more space and comfort." (108225475)

    Very friendly and helpful proprietor. All main facilities worked and in good order. Good value breakfast with lots available (more than one needs). Garage facility much appreciated in centre of town and fair at €5 per night.

    Could do with brightening up of rooms and hallway. Rooms a little small for two people. Cupboards not deep enough. Bed OK but used to more comfort.

    "Arrived around 12 lunchtime but room not ready, welcomed, registered, car in garage, advised where to see sights, eat, drink. Very pleasant lady who has enough English to get by and encouraged our school french! Unbelievable breakfast, what a choice and the quality was superb." (107328231)

    Superb breakfast, pleasant informative greeting from proprieter, secure garage used for all our stay not just when in the hotel.

    Bedding very dated, no bedroom curtains just nets - early daylight wakes you up.

    "The manager was very welcoming and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean, facilities were good and maid service ensured things were kept this way. The breakfast at Euro 7 was a steal. As much coffee as you wanted; bread, cheese, yogurts, fruit juice even cake!. We came down about 9 am each morning and stayed for a good hour and a half - no one minded. It was all very relaxing. There was secure paring in the basement which was especially important as we were travelling on motorbikes. There were 10 of us in our group and all were very complimentary of the hotel, its staff and services. There was also plenty of 'tourist' information available in the foyer. Overall a memorable long weekend. I would certainly use this hotel again." (97886903)

    "Hôtel familial sympathique,d'accès très facile.Nous n'avons pas utilisé le parking de l'hôtel: peu de places de parking à proximité immédiate mais à 250 m places gratuites disponibles 24 h à côté de la gare." (97630427)

    Accueil personnalisé. Excellent petit déjeuner.

    Aucun. Seule l'absence d'ascenseur pourrait gêner certains.

    "We were looking for a good value over night stay in an interesting town on our way back to Le Havre from Capeberton. This was perfect as Vitre is a lovely medievil town and the hotel is close to the historic part of the town. We found a choice of good restaurants and bars close to the hotel. The hotel breakfast, at 6 Euros per person, proved to be very good value as well." (2514578)

    Central location, clean, friendly service, good value for money.

    It is an older hotel and it would not really be possible to add an elevator or expand the dining room.

    accueil très sympathique. possibilité de parking à proximité. Vitré est une ville qui m'a semblé calme et agréable à visiter. son autre atout est sa proximité de Rennes (20 minutes).

    le rapport qualité/prix du petit déjeuner et le respect de la chaîne du froid pour les yaourts notamment. Rappeler au personnel affecté au service du petit déjeuner qu'il est inconvenant de nettoyer une tasse avec les doigts et la mettre ensuite sur la table. cela est choquant.
