    Practical room and good staff/cleaning etc. Good secure garage available at a price of course. Very central location.

    Poor shower in room. Bad value for money for fixed meal price in hotel which was poorly downgraded in an otherwise upmarket hotel.

    Hotel location is excellent for site seeing and walking around town. Building is old and outdated but is charming and has a lot of character.

    Had cancelled second night online and received confirmation, however hotel had reservation for two nights. Staff had difficulty with English. Lobby and corridors had very strong fishy smell (perhaps from kitchen?) Access and parking inconvenient.

    Somewhat pricey food. Acceptable for gastronomic evening meal (plenty of other restaurants nearby) but 17 euros for breakfast? (cereal 3 euros extra!). No wi-fi signal in room

    prestations insuffisantes pour un 3*: mini bar annoncé inexistant, pas d'eau de vie de questche ou de mirabelle au coeur de la Lorraine dans un hotel restaurant qui passe pour une des meilleures tables de la région!, les mirabelles mise à disposition au desk étaient à peine mûres, ce qui est quand même un comble, prix du petit déjeuner excessif compte tenu des prestations

    Sehr freundliches Personal, große Zimmer, gutes Essen.

    Etwas heruntergekommene Einrichtung, völlig unmoderne Badezimmer, kein bewachter Parkplatz am Haus, Zufahr zum Parkplatz für Hotelgäste kompliziert und vor allem nicht ausgeschildert/gekennzeichnet.

    "Hotel was not as bad as some of the revues I read,just a bit dated and quirky, but to me thats just a bit of character, room was very large with enormous bathroom, well stocked mini bar that was not too pricey, however as I have stated the breakfast was very expensive so didnt bother, just went across the road for coffee and croisants in cafe opposite, fraction of price, not a problem."     Location and atmosphere.

    Breakfast was very pricey. Although the staff can't help the weather, the room was very hot. The second night, street noise kept me up all night.

    Food was great; person who took me to the parking garage on the day we arrived was great (guy was from China).

    Poor to limited Internet connection; bed bad. Creaky floors. Did not wish to use the shower.

    Friendly staff, easy location to find, central location in city, close to tourist information, fantastic restraunt.

    Tried to book two beds on line and ended up with one bed.

    An excellent location, a good breakfast, secure parking a welcoming atmosphere.

    The room was too hot at night and we could not turn the heating down. The bed was too small.

    I have stayed at this hotel many times and it offers comfortable accommodation for a reasonable price. It has a really excellent restaurant, although some may find it rather expensive.

    There are no particular bad points although some may find the rooms and facilities a bit dated.

    Pleasant ... think bedroom although large and comfortable was a bit dated could do with updating.

    Food in hotel was expensive. Breakfast was 16 Euros per person which I think was expensive. Patisserie round the corner was only 6 Euros .. a very nice breakfast consisting of bread, croissant, juice and coffee/tea - quite adequate. Car parking was difficult - had to pay for private parking which cost around 13Euros. per day. The garage was situated about a 5 min. walk away.

    Good size clean recently refurbished room. Plenty of comfortable pillows, all ways a bonus.

    "Much of the riverside of Verdun is pedestrianised. Parking (not free) is a few hundred metres which is a nuisance if you have heavey luggage. The hotel lift is of a very old interesting design and takes only two guests. There are many features which make the hotel interesting and a pleasure to stay in. The bistro was good. The main restaurant was out of our price range but sure to be top quality. Location of the hotel is very good and affords a good starting point to view the famous battlefields in the area. All in all it was a pleasure to stay in the hotel and value for money. More readily available info on local sites would have been useful." (97740234)

    Many old fashioned features of character. Close to the town.

    The public ares of the hotel seemed to be well maintained and in good condition. However the bedroom was very shabby, very jaded and old fashioned. The carpet was in poor condition, the furniture was in poor condition and the door to the bathroom did not close, it was hanging off its hinges. The shower curtain was disgusting.

    "We returned to Verdun on route to Luxembourg and had stayed nearby before. We were very dissapointed in the accomadation for the price, rooms very old fashioned beds uncomfortable. Compared to other hotels we stayed in during our holiday this one was poor value for money. Breakfast was expensive as an extra so we ate elsewhere." (99882008)

    Access to unload was difficult no help given by staff to unload. Compared to other hotels we stayed in this one was very expensive.
