    "An excellent location for a family to visit the sites of northern France and Paris. Enjoyable staff, excellent value. " (107260366)

    Booked a family room for our family of 5, they gave us adjoining rooms with a central foyer area and an outer door. Each room had its own bathroom, nice size for Europe. Excellent setup for the family at a reasonable price. Room was clean and a nice size, daily maid service, staff was friendly. Short walk to the train, which runs directly into Paris. Exceeded expectations for a two star hotel.

    Limited breakfast cost 7 Euros per person. Parking was secure, but the door had to be opened by the staff each time - especially inconvenient when returning at night.

    Bed was clean and the towels were clean and white.

    "I would like to have known that the Hotel is situated on a very busy main thoroughfare with quite a lot of traffic noise coming into the rooms. Luckily I had some earplugs!!" (99921856)

    Accommodation was clean and the hotel well decorated.I had booked a family room for four and the children had their own bedroom. Staff were pleasant and the breakfast meal was excellent.

    The quiet room (No. 45) at the back of the Hotel. The room was a good size and quite peaceful. The heating was working and the rooms were warm. The hotel was very conveniently located for exploring the old district of Rouen and there was a good view of the river from our friends' room.

    There was a water leak from a pipe above the bath in our bathroom (45) during the night and the wet ceiling tiles fell into the bath. The shower in the substitute room (43) was not very well installed and fell off its mounting during use. Our friends' room was at the front (42)and it was a bit noisy. Their shower also fell off its mounting. The (only) lift broke down during our (one night) stay.

    Security of the car park. Ease of getting to the hotel. Convenience to City centre.

    Noise!! We have stayed at this hotel previously but it has been on a weekend. The noise of the traffic during the week was incredible.

    "Apart from the fact that the room was very small, it was clean and neat (the bathroom too). The staff were friendly and, as it was located on the quays, it was easy to find when we arrived and a stone's throw away from the city's historic centre. Some would find it noisy as it's on a busy street, but the windows were good so it dodn't bother us that much. Good value for money, though simple." (3305086645)

    "The hotel is very convenient for the centre of Rouen and just outside the one way system, it overlooking the river but also a busy road and railway. A small balcony allowed views of road rail and river traffic. There is a secure underground car park, access is tight, but is was very useful with a car full of holiday baggages." (3304967244)

    The hotel is convenient for the centre of Rouen. Rooms are small but adequate and clean, ideal for an overnight stop or a short stay.

    Inadequate map of its location (which was easy to find once you knew where it was). Overlooks a busy road and double accoustic glazing could not be used in warm weather when ventilation required.

    Good location, excellent and friendly/helpful receptionists.

    Very tired accommodation, though we appreciate refurbishment is in progress. The TV brackets are at a very dangerous height Doubtless these will be moved during refurbishment.

    "The main issue I have is that the map provided by the booking service was totally inadequate and inaccurate. As a result I spent a very frustrating 40 minutes driving around Rouen trying to find the hotel. The actual map provided by the hotel on their own literature was far more accurate and a link to there site would have been better." (1419504)

    A simple clean good hotel.

    Despite being on a main road it was not easy to see/find.
