    Good reception Bedroom overlooking sea very comfortable

    Breakfast poor. One roll, one croissant: no choice of jam. Very poor buffet selection. No directions for fire precautions in room. No information on anything in room/hotel eg TV, telephone, alarm calls. Very poor bathroom. WC uncomfortable to use and arranged strangely. Poor shower facility

    The staff was very friendly and helpful (with the exception noted below). The location was ideal for our needs.

    We requested a very early morning wake-up call in order to make our travel connections. We never received the call.

    "The room was comfortable, there were extra pillows and blankets if required. The room was clean as was the bathroom. It was very convenient for our overnight stay and the staff had sufficient English when we struggled with our French." (97709189)

    Staff very welcoming and efficient and happy to provide safe place to store bicycle overnight. Good-sized room with partial view of harbour. Staff on duty at 6.00am when I needed to check out. Central location.

    "I and my partner had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Aguado in Dieppe. The staff were fantastic aswell as being very friendly and helpful. It would be even better with maybe a few English speaking channels on the television, and also maybe tea and coffee making facilities in the room." (97432252)

    "The extra charge for sea view was not really worth it, due to inclement weather.The location of the hotel was excellent, but locating some directional signposts in the town as we were driving in. The aforementioned shower facility was disappointing - the attachment was at a pretty useless height. Also disappointing was the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but there was a reasonably priced mini bar. Overall, it was a good experience and I would like to stay for a few days next time in better weather. Dieppe is a nice place!" (97578757)

    The size of the room and the location of the hotel.The friendliness of staff.

    The unavailability of secure parking and the lack of a proper shower - there was an attachment located about a foot above the bath, a strange height! There was no shower screen also. No tea and coffee making facilities in room.

    "Point à améliorer dans cet hôtel c'est le petit déjeuner, demander aux clients la veille ce que l'on désire ( thé, café ou autres) je préfère la formule où le cLient se sert directement au buffet.     couloirs rénovés mais pas le reste accueil sympathique mais sans plus

    chambre assez petite, vieillissante salle de bain peu entretenue le réveil est imperatif à 10 h00 même après la nuit du 31 décembre le petit déjeuné est cher pour ce que c'est et pas très copieux impossible d'avoir un croissant supplémentaire

    "Impressed by overall service. My wife, who accompanied me, is an invalid and when we left the hotel, she forgot a coat, left in the room. The resultant telephone call made by me was helpful and positive. The coat was found and is being returned." (97642669)

    Hotel vieillot. Sanitaire dépassé. Petit déjeuner hors de prix pour la prestation proposée.

    Large Bathroom

    Lack of air conditioning meant windows had to be open in hot weather and so the traffic noise was quite loud at night

    The hotel was clean and tidy, close to the harbour and beach and easily accessible from the car ferry.

    Having to order breakfast the previous day as two of our group changed their minds about breakfast but were still charged for it.

    "This hotel is in a good position but is very outdated. The breakfast room was very dark and uninviting and the noise in the bedroom from the rooms either side was terrible." (99814928)

    The position of the hotel - close to the sea and town.

    The hotel is very outdated and needs upgrading - bathroom door in bedroom had paint peeling off and noise from room next door was TERRIBLE - could clearly hear storing and use of toilet - unacceptable.

    "Hotel vieillot, mobilier vieux, limite kitch, ne merite pas son nombre d'etoiles. Salle de bain ancienne type annee cinquante vieux carrelage et eclairage jaunatre. Hotel pouvant jouer actuellement essentiellement sur sa vue mer, c'est d'ailleurs la seule photo qui figure sur le site de rervation. C'est vraiment dommage car cet hotel aurait beaucoup de potentiel avec quelques investissements. A deconseiller aux jeunes couple voulant se faire un week end pleins d'agreables souvenirs, le cadre ne s'y prete pas." (99031633)
