    Light Airy Room - nice meal in restaurant.

    Breakfast a bit skimpy by 9am.

    Excellent value for money. Restaurant menu also good value. Lots of choice on the breakfast buffet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms well-equipped and very clean.

    Not really a bad point, but the restaurant menu could possibly have more choice, as we were staying for four nights.

    "Very relaxing and enjoyable break. The town of Albert is in the Picardy region is in a central position for the Poppy Trail, and has an underground First Wold War museum beside the Basillica. The Poppy Trail is a very interesting historical tour of the Great War in the Somme battlefields. Very good place to be based if you enjoy history. Would certainly come back again." (107924488)

    Very nice hotel, friendly staff and nice restaurant. Food very good, nouvelle cuisine. Room at back of hotel very quiet. Very pleasantly surprised to have tea and coffee making facilities in room, as not mentioned in overall details for room facilities. Room very clean as was bathroom. Manger of hotel very helpful and friendly.

    Check in was 4:00pm this was rather late as travelled from Calais on early ferry, arriving at hotel around 1:00pm. No one was available at the hotel until approx. 3:00pm. Had to walk into town centre of Albert, approx. 10-15 minutes. Was not aware that if you arrive in France on a Monday all shops, restaurants etc., are closed! Information office open and told us only 1 other hotel and a corner bar were open to have lunch.

    Pleasant check-in staff who gave us a good recommendation for dinner in town. Very clean room, beds comfortable. Hotel very convenient for WW1 sites.

    Room small for three people Restaurant unable to accommodate us (though we had a good meal elsewhere on the hotel's recommendation)

    the hotel was clean and very plesant, with a nice bar and lounge area

    I felt the restaurant was over priced and the food selected was poor value and disapointing based upon previous visits. we were dispointed that drought beer was not available and offered bottled beer which in th euk we can buy fot £0.50/bottle but charged in excess of three pounds

    Very quiet, very nice, very good food, charming restaurant , large choice of wine , alcohol whiskies, etc...good atmosphere in general, the hotel is typical, cosy, and elegant. free internet... need to be specify!!!and the personal are charming and the speak english very well..

    No bad point , but I personnaly regret the size of rooms, too small for me , all rooms have the same size, no suite or junior suite , or simply very large room. he internet is free , which is wonderful, but unfortunately very very slow, but working.....

    Very nice, helpful staff.

    Undermanned in the dining room, especially as the only waiter had to help at a reception in the bar as well. I thought the meal, though good, was expensive and the turbot my wife had was ridiculously small. The bathroom shower fitting was broken.

    the hotel was very easy to find, and is extremely well-placed for visiting all the sites associated with the Somme battlefield of the First World War. The hotel is extremely comfortable and our room was spotless. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. Food was first-class!

    We were pleasantly surprised with the kitchen. We had a superb meal, truly comparable with five star establishments.

    quality of TV reception...we were keen to watch Wimbledon finals.
