    "No real complaints since my primary use of the room was for sleeping and it was quiet and well ventilated. The position of the hotel - easy access to good restaurants - was ideal. " (108031106)

    Cleanlines, friendliness and excellent breakfasts

    Not exactly a bad point but the room, although perfectly pleasant, was smaller than I had imagined a "privilege double room" to be : large enough for a double bed and not much more (eg no armchair). The bathroom(s) were however fine.

    The staff were very helpful and friendly, this was the second year we have stayed at this hotel it is quiet and peaceful with good blackout blinds,and airconditioning and far enough away from the centre but near enough to walk.

    "The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. The location of the hotel was convenient for the town centre. It was good to be able to open the windows and have fresh air in the room." (97615796)

    "Superb location only a few minutes walk to the centre of Limoges. Very quiet location, superb and helpful staff. Shower cubicle was nice and big, comfy beds and air con. The only downside was the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room and I thought 4 euros for a coffee in the hotel was a tad expensive as was the mini bar. That said, Limoges was a fantastic place, far better than we expected. A thriving night life to suit all ages, with a noticeable absence of drunks or yobs of any description. Public transport to the airport was non existent tho', but taxis were comparable if not cheaper than the UK." (99259241)

    "I love France and stay in French hotels often. This is probably the best room I have ever had in France, although I did book the best and most expensive room in the hotel." (99519005)

    Good staff, nice room and very clean ( not always the case in France).

    Difficult to find but that's more down to me than the position of the hotel. Also no restaurant.

    "we were told english breakfast was available,but did not get it.on offer was a continental breakfast,this was alright,but we were told that cheeses and cold meats,yogurts and fruit would be on the menu for breakfast but again we did not have these.we also were told that if we wanted to order eggs for breakfast we could but this would come as an extra charge.maybe this was down to the language barrier,but all in all was good."     "I paid 6E for parking, but there was parking available on the street. Still it was nice to have the car off the street. It was very slow, so the hotel was quiet with just one person at the desk who was very helpful. The room wasn't large, but nicely decorated, comfortable beds; the bathroom had two sinks and a nice walk in shower. Was a short walk to the center of Limoges where we found a nice place to eat. Would have been fun to be closer to center, but not a problem." (3305130983)

    The airconditioned room was nice and the bathroom roomy and clean with nice shower.

    "Although hotel was fairly close to town , it was a bit of a walk to the main square, about 15 minutes along cobbled streets and quite hilly. You needed good walking shoes to feel comfotable and I did not bring any. There never appeared to be anybody in the hotel bar, so you had to be prepared to walk in order to experience some nightlife." (3304717095)

    Very quiet at night so it was very easy to sleep. Reception staff were extremely helpful. It was fairly close to town.

    Television did not work properly so no English channels as advertised, also felt breakfast was quite expensive at 10 euros extra per person. I think it should have been included in price.

    "Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Staff provided us with maps of the area, restaurants and parked car for us. All staff we met spoke English Limited parking within the garage so book early, and on street parking was not possible nearby - all proximate spaces taken. Old part of town well worth exploring - a 10 minute walk away - a very pleasant stay and 15 minutes to the airport which was well signposted." (3304374103)

    "From the first moment we arrived in the hotel the staff were very friendly and welcoming and tried to speak English on every occasion.Very helpful in finding us places to go at night. Just nothing seemed to be a bother to all the staff that we met.The accommodation itself was clean and tidy with a good clear sign outside the entrance ( vital for the wary traveller).     "We booked speculatively and were delighted to have hit a near jackpot. The hotel is in excellent repair and the staff were friendly and supportive. The gentleman on reception even found us a plug adapter for my son's portable DVD player. We had a pleasant and affordable two night stay." (2699528)

    The family room was very good. Slightly apart from the main body of the hotel, it afforded us privacy and comfort and allowed us to park the car right outside.

    Breakfast was sketchy. Not all the things mentioned in the guide were laid out (ham and cheese) and one was left in the slightly embarrassing position of having to ask for something that was meant to be included. Also, no fresh milk!

    Fairly centrally located, 5 minute walk into central 'square' easy parking, very clean, friendly staff. Hotel retains character.
