    Excellent response to broken shower and alternative room offered immediately. Excellent restaurant. Quiet and attractive location

    "The staff were very welcoming on arrival. The rooms were very good. The food in the restaurant was excellent, the wine also. The surrounding area was very peaceful and relaxing. I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room, though bottled water and biscuits were provided. The spa bath in the room was very relaxing preparing us for the next step of our journey." (99342267)

    "Food was excellent, and we were only sorry that we were travelling the next morning and couldn't do full justice to the quality and choice of wine available.Would perhaps choose a larger room if staying longer than 2 nights." (3304334805)

    "The best compliment I can give to this hotel is that my four year old daughter, knowing we were on our way to stay at a beach house for a couple weeks, wanted to stay another night! The rooms were very comfortable (traveling with two children and two adults we did need to book two rooms, but they were able to place us side by side). The staff was extremely helpful. And, the small playground with the open spaces around it was a nice addition greatly appreciated by the children who used the opportunity to release pent up energy from being in the car all day."     "After having a few deviations on route to the Pen Roc, we finally found the Hotel and we were greeted by Madame Froc who was really friendly . We booked ourselves into the Restaurant for the evening that we arrived and had a Wonderful Gormand Meal which was served to us by three very efficient waiters who made an effort to speak to us in English as our French is very limited and Madame Froc had even advised them that my Husband was allerigic to Shellfish when we came to order our meal. Thankyou Madame Froc for a lovely stay and Thank you to the waiters" (3304537221)

    It was a Family run Hotel which makes it a bit more special as they have a reputation to keep

    "Hotel was recommended by a friend. This is the third time we have visited. The rooms are lovely, and the staff are very helpful. The surroundings are so peaceful. The food is excellent unable to fault best French food we have found so far. Would be a lovely hotel to stay for a weekend to stay and relax and do nothing." (2438139)

    The swimming pool would be even more appealing if it was heated

    "We tend to book inexpensive accomodations since we spend our time sight-seeing rather than relaxing at a hotel. We stayed at this hotel on the last night of a 6-day trip to Brittany with friends visiting from the US, and picked the location because it was on the way back to Paris, where we are living temporarily. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a much more luxurious room than we normally have, and enjoyed it immensely! We also enjoyed our excellent dinner in the hotel's restaurant." (2020692)

    "The restaurant served excellent breakfast and delicious evening meals.... one critism here would be that the same menu was presented each evening, although it must be said that there were several choices for each of the courses. The hotel is not difficult to find, but visitors would find it useful to print off a localised map from Chateaubourg. I found it a help having done that before travelling. Madam Froc speaks reasonably good English as do a number of her staff. ALL staff were exceedingly polite and helpful in providing a highly recommendable service. We shall most definitely return."     The accomodation ( double superieure and twin bedded confort)were very clean and bright with wonderful views. These rooms were next to each other and ideal for families.

    It would have been nice to have had coffee or tea making facilities in the bedrooms.

    Good air conditioning.

    Poor description of the suite. It was simply a larger room than the others. The pool was advertised as heated and was not.
