    "Es ist ein aussergewöhnliches Hotel mit Charm. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und fühlten uns besonders im parkählichen Garten sehr wohl. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei, der sich hier problemlos zurechtgefunden hat. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht, man fühlte sich einfach willkommen. Das reichhaltige Frühstück mit frischem Obst, aber auch die Kleinigkeiten am Abend waren liebevoll zubereitet. Falls wir wieder in die Gegend kommen, werden wir bestimmt wieder hier wohnen."     The warm welcome we received on arrival by the reception management and staff. The well decorated, clean and comfortable room.

    I cannot fault this hotel it is highly recommended.

    "This hotel is just a lovely building all around, and the staff is very gracious and welcoming. I did get a bit lost when finding the place, so I would suggest calling ahead for directions instead of using MapQuest (especially if you are arriving late, in the fog)." (99675867)

    Beautiful room and building, the staff was willing to speak English with me, lovely bar and breakfast area, great location within Auxerre.

    "we would like to have known when the bar was closed and prices as on our first night's stay we came up the road early to have a few drinks in the bar only to be told it closed at 10 o'clock. the receptionist did open it for us but were shocked at the prices, we couldn't afford to drink there- nearly 27 euros for 2 bottles of lager, a whisky, a vodka and lemonade" (99355055)

    Generally a very good hotel. Our baby loved the garden and the outdoor heated pool. We would stay again for that alone.

    Bed too narrow, room a bit small, bathroom layout a bit awkward.

    "All in all a good hotel. Friendly staff, quiet and very clean. The standard room was very small and felt even smaller with a dark blue interior for 2 people. We decided to upgrade to a deluxe room for 115 euro. The red/orange color deluxe room is comfortable and adequate and has a 2 seater sofa. The hotel is located just outside the ring road and able to walk to town." (3305118571)

    The standard room is small and the blue colour interior made it even smaller.

    central easy access to the city centre-and the hotel was very clean-a very nice hotel to stay in-staff spoke good english and were friendly

    "Dinner could be ordered but was basic although excellent quality. OK for one night but would not have wanted to eat there more than that. It was great that the person on reception spoke such good English and she was very helpful. The bedroom was large and comfortable with a good bed and a settee. The bathroom was spotless." (2671564)

    "The town guide was very helpful for us to find the type of restaurant we were looking for. And we had an excellent meal. Strange that several restaurants should be closed for vacation at the height of a holiday period. ** Restraunteur to wife We are expecting lots of business let's go on holiday.     Correct - excellent breakfast, good surroundings and helpful staff

    1st room offered, the space round the bath was so small my wife could not get into the bath! Room changed with no problem
