    Easy booking facilities. Good location. Beds clean.

    Late check in. Poor info at check in not told of checking out times or breakfast times. Room still had rubbish from previous occupants. No conditioner in dispenser. No plug in sink.

    Helpful staff. Clean general appearance of hotel. Convience for bus stop.

    Ran out of milk for the room during the week. Don't think the room was cleaned the first day.

    Good and efficient Polish staff manning the restaurant for breakfast.

    Rowdy guests in neighbouring room; running up and down the corridor shouting from 03:00 am; loud music; letting off fire extinguisher etc.

    The staff were friendly and eager to please. The rooms were nicely furnished and the breakfast was adequate

    Only real bad point was the noise from the central heating system. It banged all night long and as a result my husband never really slept. Another couple never slept for the noise from the lift

    Staff were quite pleasant during our short stay

    The hotel was in a poor state of repair - boarded up windows - general air of neglect and disrepair throughout - photographs on the web appear to have been from a different hotel and bore no resemblance to the Devoncove of today - bedroom had torn wallpaper and faded furnishings and matresses appeared worn out, dining room in the middle of refurbishment.

    "I didn't regret booking here as a stay in one of the well known chain hotels in the city centre would have cost twice as much. The hotel is reasonably well decorated but some areas are a bit tired looking. The location is an upmarket part of Glasgow which is very quiet at weekends due to most of the buildings being professional services." (107359988)

    Pleasant quiet area. Nice Lounge area and bar. Much cheaper than some city centre hotels.

    Cooked breakfast cheap and nasty. Young and inexperienced staff fail to give a standard that takje it to a higher level.

    "If a little effort was put into the hotel, this would be a great place to stay, A few steps away from a beautiful park and major museum. There appeared to be very few staff and they did not present as having the customers interests at heart, when reporting the problems to reception, staff showed no concern for customer care. Glasgow has a lot to offer in terms of culture history and attractions, The hospitality of people in general was warm and friendly. I would visit again but chose a different hotel." (107492494)

    Close enough to the city centre and attractions. Good mix of age group clientel, parking at rear of hotel is a real bonus.

    Decoration poor & unkept,Although the reception & seating area have been upgraded, curtains not properly fixed to rails, Room facing road and overlooking the foyer canopy which was full of discarded cigarette ends. Heating not working, one evening there was no hot water and then no water at all the next morning. dining room was half way through renovation which looked as though it had been in this condition for some time. main breakfast ingredients were not available each morning. Had to wait considerable length of time to be served then hurried to vacate the breakfast room.

    One member of staff was very helpfull after room debacle

    the first key we were given opened a room door where there were already occupants. the second key to the second room also had people in it. We then waited 30 minutes to be allocated a room. while we were waiting other people were checking in and being allocated a room which I presume was vacant. The receptionist was very offhand with us as if the problem was caused by us. The next day she apologised and explained what the problem had been. All too late as we were left angry and frustrated. The breakfast was basic to say the least. another annoyance was noisy people in the room next door. The night poreter did sort it out after we complained.

    "On arrival the hotel looked delapidated, the reception area looks nothing like the one on the website. First room was a twin when we had booked a double. They had moved the single beds together and put a double sheet on them but then left 2 single quilts...... The room was in ruins with largs chunks of plaster missing and the sewer encroaching into the bathroom. I asked to move rooms to a double as I had booked a double but the only had another twin. They did promise to make the twins into a double the next day but this did not happen. Overall, the hotel has potential, staff training is required as the customer service was non existant, my wife was told to wait whilst they finished some paperwork on an empty desk before she could get a drink..."     It's a good hotel located conveniently closer to motorways and other major highways and close to city centre. It's in much decent condition and very good value for money

    heater was not working properly so felt bit cold during the night inside the room

    leaving the place at 8am

    staff unreal and no help, waited 15 mins to get back in the hotel at night after a ciggarett, sat in the restraunt for 15 mins before i got served, put the full breakfast back 3 time forr being to cold, was the worst hotel iv been in yet oh and free wireless did not work at all therefore no internet access for work.

    Bathroom was clean and pleasant

    Found the Customer Service at the front desk somewhat lacking, was not greeted either on arrival or departure. Receptionist stared at a computer screem for a long while at check-in without sayng a word, which lead me to believe at forst there may have been a problem with booking. Loose floorboard in bedroom caused wardrobe to shake

    Hotel is trying to rebuild and improve so I can stand improvement.

    No wireless connection to internet from room this is the second time I have stayed there and neither time have I been able to get a wireless connection in the room I have had to go to the lobby to get a connection

    quite central but still in a quiet area. walking distance to SECC

    room was much smaller than rooms shown on website. Shower made a funny noise when running.
