    All except bad points

    1.Room was too small 2. Too close to the check-in desk and the entrance thus noisy until late evening. Please do not try to soak penny from each original storage area in this fine house. The price was not high but also not so low to allow you to sell this room as "comfort single"

    "One of the better hotels in its class. Room rates vary wildly which is not good,particularly internet Vs. directly contacting the hotel. Room facilities and layouts vary wildly so not always sure what you are going to get. But always clean and modern." (108690049)

    Modern feel with updated features and fittings, location is really good, access to Heathrow and Tubes, always very clean, free internet all adds up for business travelers.

    Not all rooms have fridges, this is an issue for longer stays, I typically stay for a week. Printing facility needed with public computers. Rates all over the place!

    All receptionist staff that I've met are friendly, especially Aparna on the evening shift. I've not taken breakfast at the hotel so I can't make any comment about this.

    clean, comfortable room. Temperature control was a nice feature.

    I phoned the hotel at about 10:30pm to ask about any local venues open late to eat/drink and the person answering the phone was less than helpful, saying he basically didn't know anything about any local venues. The shower should really be a power shower. The TV kept turning itself on periodically, I assume a technical fault rather than a poltergeist.

    "wir waren nur von Mitternacht bis 5 Uhr morgens da, können also nicht viel sagen, aber da uns Zimmer etc. und Nähe zum Bahnhof Paddington gut gefallen haben, werden wir es auch nochmal länger austesten :o)" (108452263)

    En la página web ponía que "había frigorífico en todas las habitaciones" y no era así. Sólo había en algunas habitaciones y no había en la mía. Yo pensaba que mi habitación tendría frigorífico así que me llevé una gran sorpresa. Finalmente arreglamos la situación porque me permitieron meter los productos que llevaba en un frigorífico común que tenían en el hotel.

    The hotel was nice and had good amenities

    The air conditioning only worked the first night - it was almost cold in the room. The second night it was almost too hot to sleep.

    good location for transportation and nice housekeeping.

    poor air-conditioning: although it mentions the room has air-conditioning, we can not feel it and it is not cool enough; we have to open the windows all the time. That is not good when the it is over 25C.

    Very small, but confortable and cleaned room, complete of all necessary for travellers. Confortable bathroom.

    Bad disposition of furniture for available space in bedroom. Poor elasticity of invoice system: no possibility to print a total charge for room + breakfast, even if requested at check-in.

    "The hotel is in a great location The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms basement rooms are small but comfortable" (108313333)

    The toilet sink has no plug so there is a waste of water during shaving etc The waste in the shower was blocked,the tray filled and took hours to drain away Breakfast prices are way too high, you can get the same breakfast two minutes walk round the corner for a third of the prices you charge.

    good location, clean, close to public transport, air condition

    room too small, there is a burnt iron that i used and dirtied by shirt. the reception did change the iron but says they can't do aything on the shirt. its just my luck that the iron was there.

    This is an excellent hotel and management are fortunate to be able to provide a staff who are so dedicated to their tasks and responsibilities.

    Room 208 was really much too small and cramped for me. I could have changed but I was so weary and had so much to nget through over a few days I felt the hassle of changing would be more than it may have been worth. I was offered a change but I was too tired to pursue it. When I am staying again I will seek a larger room with a double bed.

    Very helpful staff and comfortable room. Stayed on Monday 8th june and Thursday 11th June on the second night my request for a room near the lift was noted and very helpful to be near the lift because of walking difficulty. The first night not so good the room a long walk from the lift and with steps to negotiate. Both rooms were very comfortable. Delicious and good value breakfast.

    Checking in at this hotel is a total nightmare! We book hundreds of hotels and guest houses every week and use a company credit card to pay. I always send a confirmation fax directly to the hotel to ensure that this is sorted prior to the guest arriving. This hotel then also asks for a photocopy of the credit card - which is not always possible - and also I am unhappy about this due to security reasons.

    pleasant staff - newly renovated bathroom.

    Entrance to room itself - very dangerous: The door has a sign marked "Mind the step", however when opening the door (at night, so very dark - and bear in mind, you can ONLY activate the light with the key-card once in the room) the floor just gives way to THREE steps down - immediately! I fell and hurt my back. There had been NO warning by the check-in staff - there MUST be in future. Anyone booked into such a room should be told when checking in that the entrance to the room is dangerous, and that they MUST take care. The hotel could be held accountable if someone seriously hurts themselves - which could easily happen.

    Great location (minutes from Paddington station), modern room with good facilities, quiet street, free internet access in room and free broadband in Reception.

    Very convienient to be where I required to be first thing Sunday morning. All facilities were what I required.

    Unable to control the room air conditioning. Being a small room it became too hot for my comfort.

    "The internet was frustrating since I needed to work and I wasn't the only one complaining. I've never stayed in such a tiny room. The suites were nice (which I tried later). The staff was great. But in the end I changed hotels as the room size and internet were too much to endure for a long stay." (107860311)

    The staff was very pleasant, helpful and sincere. They were about as good as it gets. There was a good flatscreen, wall-mounted TV and a good variety of TV channels. Room had a safe, iron and the furniture looked fairly new. The hotel was clean, orderly and well maintained.

    The internet was horrible. You could rarely connect and response was extremely slow when you did. The room was tiny in every way. I barely fit into the shower stall, your shoulders touched the wall when sitting on the toilet, there was one tiny table that was taken up by the tea set... claustrophobic.

    Very good room. Very clean and modern.

    My room had already been given to someone else even though I had notified the booking office that I would be checking in late. I gave my flight arrival time. The breakfast was very nice but very overpriced. For business travel it is better to have the cost included. Need more adaptors for English sockets.

    Conveniently, walking distance from Paddington Station. Staff friendly and very helpfull!

    Single room extremely small like a cabin! Information booklet for guests outdated No Room service and in addition delivery menus for meals limited. Again no dedicated indoors smoking area in extreme weather conditions!!
