    "I have stayed in this hotel 5 times now and found the staff to be very friendly, efficient and accommodating. The rooms are a good size and have everything I need but WIFI would have been useful. The hotel is well situated, not in the centre of the city but very close to everything." (97830969)

    "Location was relatively easy to drive to (on a main road, north of the city), and short 10-15min bus trip into town which made it easy to get around. Nice selection of cafes, bars and restaurants across the road as well as a convenience store." (97651851)

    accommodation was excellent and nite time entertainment at weekend was just brilliant everyone was so relaxed and the place was buzzing all weekend

    I liked everything about the accomodation, myself and my companion were particularly impressed with the meal which we had in the Grill Room Restaurant, the meal was very well cooked, and presented, and it was extremely good value for money, and it was delicious, the hotel was very comfortable. The hotel was very convenient for Derry airport, as we had an early morning flight, a cab was ordered and it was on time, and we got to the airport on time. It was a lovely way to round off a short break in Ireland. Thank you.

    "We found the canned music in the dining room very irritating. It was all one style, repetitive and overly loud. Suggest more variation and include some Irish music; as Scottish visitors we would have enjoyed that. Service at dinner was slow to the point of detracting from what was an excellent meal."     "The check-in was quick and efficient. The room was clean and bright. The restaurant was first class with a good choice and excellent cost. It is the first time I have stayed in a Ramada da vinci hotel and will be looking in the future to use the facilities again." (3305212346)

    "We were travelling with our 40 year old handicapped daughter who was unable to access the shower in the bathroom. Would it be possible to have one or two rooms fitted with a shower only?" (3305026736)

    Modern hotel:good food: The staff were so VERY pleasant,helpful and courteous. The charge was very reasonable.

    "Nice modern hotel with nice big bright bedrooms. Welcoming reception area and nice pleasant staff. Good retaurant serving excellent food and a nice pub adjacent to the hotel.     "I cannot find anything that would be a major disappointment there is nothing that I was not aware of as i stay there before. the only thing is that i did request that i did not want to be near the area were the bottling store was but unfortunately this is what i got. A small disappointment but never bthe less if you were having an early night the noise would be a hinderance to a goodnights sleep.All and all I will use this hotel again, and also a word of praise to the reception girls they are very kind and pleasant.Thank you once again" (3304099250)

    the hotel is very well maintain,all the staff we meet could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

    the unusual hot weather did make the room extremly hot the windows did not open enough to give any worthwhile breeze the hotel did not provide fans and so we had to purchase our own

    "My sister and I travel to Londonderry from Cardiff on quite a regular basis to visit our father. This Hotel was a perfect choice for us as we do like to party aswell as visit our Dad and we certainly did this Saturday night in Spirit Bar. Our room was very comfortable a nice powerful shower to wake us up. We will definately book this hotel again. Look out Spirit Bar!!!" (3304332054)

    The adjoining bar and nightclub were amazing for a lively night out! We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

    Our room was a bit too warm during the night but better than being too cold!!!

    Very friendly and helpful staff, exceptional value for money, deserves more than 3 stars, food also exceptional (try the king prawn tails with a curry butter!). You have no need to eat anywhere else.

    Bathroom perhaps needs new tiling (which is being undertaken)

    "I was totally dissapointed with the service provided. As we were asked to relocate to help with over booking problems we were led to believe that we would be catered for. Unknown to us we were sent to a cold and untidy location, a place that i can only describe as a flat.In doing this and within the ten minutes we discovered what we were doing we requested a return to the hotel. This howevever was met and greeted with hostility. I was amazed and dumb founded that such a so called up market establishment can actually let such a thing happen. These kind of incidents are not of an accidental nature and should be rectified. As we were visting Derry from England to attend a business meeting i wont be recommending this hotel again for our clients or any individual associated with our company. i would rather stay at the Travel Lodge as this is the smae grading and standard."     on arrival we were asked to move to another complex In light that our accomodation was to be upgraded. however on arrival to this so called upgraded location we were met with a cold and very uncomforable flat.The general upkeep and cleanliness were a lot to be desired for this so called penthouse. Bed lined was soiled and the fact that there was no heating made it a very uncomforable and unpleasent place to be.

    I believe that overbooking should be addressed. In particular the issue of asking guests to move to another location. At least give them a better experience as they are helping the establishment solve there self inflicted difficulties.It wouldnt hurt to offer them something they can remember apart from a flat in the sky with the tempature of the antartic and the amenities of the wild west.

    "The internet site does not do this hotel justice. It should be a four star hotel at least. The food was amazing and amazing value also. The pub was lively for a Sunday night. The room was so clean and big. We had a couch in our room. The staff were very friendly and above all accomodation was very cheap." (2946451)

    Room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. Very clean and loved the free paper under the door in the morning- lovely touch.

    None. Thats why we will return to this hotel soon.

    "The location was not what I expected, this could possibly be improved by trees and greenery grown around the hotel to give the feeling that its in a nice location and not stuck in the centre of other buildings. Staff were excellent but just feel that the location was disappointing. Would not have booked the hotel if i had been aware that the location was so poor.     Clean, tidy and had excellent restaurant in hotel which was reasonably priced.

    View from room was disappointing but unsure how this could be improved, possibly trees, greenery etc. Also very noisy in the morning both from people in the hotel and grass cutting at 8am outside our room!!

    the bathroom was very tired looking,and one of the first places tourist are interested after a journey,we were 2 people in our party-items of toiletries left just for one(even if we did not need them or use them, they where not provided).no air conditioning in room.

    restaurant was fantastic desk staff very friendly and helpful

    there are air conditioning fans on the roof of the building outside room 203 ramada da vinci derry which kitted in at 1.30 am better sound proofing on the windows facing this building and adjoining bar bottle yard

    The Da Vinci s Club ;-) -

    The cleaning ladies have been extremely loud and the doors (at least on the 4rth floor) do bang a lot. Must be the mechanism. So no chance of getting any sleep once the cleaning ladies started work. Therefore I will choose the City Hotel in my future stays.
