    Lovely bedding, nice room layout. Nice wine

    Lack of Sound proofing, dirty drawers (wondered about whole attitude to cleanliness). Very casual reception, inflexible breafast hours, staff at last breakfast lacked confidence and ability.

    BRILLIANT SERVICE, GREAT ROOMS AND FOOD WAS EXCELLENT!!! REAL GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.

    THE ONLY THING WAS THE SHOWER, COULD DO WITH UPDATING AS IT TOOK US AGES TO SHOWER DUE TO THE PRESSURE OF THE WATER.

    Overall, one of the best B&B facilities in the United Kingdom. I will personnally recommend this establishment to anyone travelling in the region.

    warm, clean, comfortable room. Proprietor was helpful, friendly and welcoming. Made the stay very enjoyable. TV had freesat!

    No phone in the room - but hey - it's a B&B not a hotel.

    Spotlessly clean. Great attention to detail throughout the accommodation. Well presented with beautiful gardens.

    TV channels limited to five channels. I would have liked at least one 24 hour news channel.

    "The price for this hotel was nearly as much as a Novotel that we had stayed in the night before & the quality was nowhere near as good. The hotel needs a major overhaul & the 'double' rooms need to be changed to single. The lady that was in charge was excellent but the accomodation & lack of facilities let her down." (97344043)

    Decor and furnishings in the room were of good quality and taste. Had a nice view over the rear garden. The overall ambience of the accommodation was welcoming

    Lack of attention to minor details such as gaps between skirting boards and walls. The establishment is not VAT registered so business clients are prevented from reclaiming VAT

    It was exceptionally clean and tidy. I particularly liked the honesty bar which lent an air of muual trust and respect.

    "The hotel which a B & B was quite easy to find and although it did not have a restaurant nearby, we found a good selection of restaurants some 15 mins away by car. We were most impressed with the bed with its crisp white linen - most comfortable. We would recommend this hotel for those looking for a quiet and restful weekend." (3305215709)

    The hotel is very cosy and nice. The bed was very comfortable and as our room overlooked the nice garden, it was nice and quiet.

    What was a bit disappointing was the lack of bath tub, our ensuite only had a shower. Also the lack of a hairdryer in the room.

    Quiet, comfortable. Very pleased it had ceiling fans in current heatwave. Breakfast good.

    Coffee I made with facilities in room was disgusting and undrinkable - I cannot describe it's awful taste - think it may have been something to do with the kettle and water (though I did use fresh from the tap).

    Copmfortable and relaxed and easy to use when working at the NEC

    A little hard to find as the hotel is set back from raod on a corner and is easily missed when driving passed.

    The accomodation was very clean and extremely comfortable though I was unable to have a shower in the morning as the water was cold , however this did not take away from my stay as the room I had was like being at home it was that comfortable .

    "Arrived late evening. Chose hotel from website for location (near to the Belfry, where I was to attend a seminar the next day) and relatively low tariff. The room, like any hotel, was rather claustrophobic but well decorated, clean and comfortable. It was near a main road but the traffic noise was not noticable due to the dpouble glazing. Breakfast room was inviting and the food good and plentiful. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Arrived at tne siminar venue refreshed and in plenty of time." (2906412)
