    Setting excellent, room very spacious and functional. Welcome was friendly, relaxed and put at at instant ease.

    Am Sonntag war es nicht möglich, ein Frühstück im Hotel zu bekommen. Das war uns vorher nicht bekannt.

    Convenient rooms for family group. Nearby donkeys to amuse children. Breakfast was good value. Nice quiet location good for breaking journey across France

    Lack of maintenance. Furniture appeared home-made and fairly basic. Significant increase in price since last year.

    Hotel is in a nice spot with lovely views.

    No restaurant. On arrival we were told by the owner to go away and come back again as our room was not ready. We were also told that the hotel was opening especially for us as we were the only guests! Being a Sunday in France there was nowhere to go! On our return the room was ready. The rooms were spacious and clean, however the shower had fallen off the wall and was on the floor. Being the only guests, were could have been placed in a room with a working shower. The final nail in the coffin for me was the amount of dog mess around the grounds.

    Lovely setting, beautiful views. Very friendly staff. Children loved the 'mezzanine balcony' where they slept.

    A little remote- off the beaten track. Quite thin walls and a lot of noise from the occupants of the next room. More of a 'motel' than a 'hotel'.

    Very friendly owner, welcoming for young children (5&6). Very nice location, kids go exploring.

    "We would definitely use this hotel again.Clean, comfortable and well equipped.It is ideally located close to a Centre commercial where you can eat at a choice of restaurants. The view from the site was impressive.No complaints at all." (99843118)

    The Hotel was an ideal stopover for us on our way to the Charente.It offered comfortable, clean accomodation with a good continental breakfast the next morning.Everything you need for a night or two.

    "The staff was very friendly, the room was a nice size and altough you were in the same room as your children it didn't feel it, as they had a mezzanine floor above you with twin beds. Room was very clean. plently of space for the children to play outside on the grass and the staff told us that they could. Lots of donkeys to see. Was bit concerned when we were driving up the approch road to the hotel as it is bit like a farm track (Don't let this put you off as its a really great place to stay)" (3304732660)

    it was nice and quite, large room, clean, excellent veiw, very friendly staff, and excellent value for money with a buffet breakfast. We would stay again if in that area.

    "The hotel was lovely and breakfast was nice and great start to the day for the impending journey. The staff were very welcoming and the children loved the fact that there were donkeys in the field right next to us and spend a few hours feeding them. Nearby was a large complex with Macdonalds,a supermarket and restaurants which was ideal. I would recommend this hotel to anyone." (3304789792)

    "The hotel was very dificult to find(over an Hour after being within two miles at one time. The breakfast was outstanding on the first visit 10 days later everything was black ie rols and croisants and as hard as nails! we were a group of six total 4 adults two small children. the childrens acomodation was okay.     "Concise directions to the hotel would have been good as after a long drive just want to get directly to hotel, maps on internet did not open when we booked so we were a bit lost. There is a large hypermarket nearby if supplies are needed as no dinner facilities available at the hotel. The staircase to the upper floor of the room was steep and was not safe for very young children." (3304492473)

    it smelt of cigarettes and we could not sleep in it as we could not breath properly. we left after 1 hour.
