    Everything was excellent and just what we needed...to get away from it all. Staff Friendly and very helpful Food amazing Facilities , good and as off peak not a lot of people using them

    The wet steam room was not working and there was no water to add to the coals in the sauna. a clear sign next to the switch for the jaczzie would be good

    Really friendly and helpful staff.

    Tired and dated decor. Gloomy dining area. Really strong chlorine smell on the 2nd floor landing. The hotel is dog friendly which I found made it a bit less fresh smelling than most hotels.

    Excellent food,service,and room. Would not hesitate to recommend the Three Rivers Hotel to anyone. The staff are helpful and efficient, and mine hosts are friendly and informal.

    "The hotel seemed understaffed wrt reception. The first experience was unpleasant, waiting for a receptionist who was also having to act as the barman.The staff I saw worked extremely hard.Breakfast was great so long as you took it early...later the quality fell off quite lot." (99980462)

    The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view out over the river and the estuary from the balcony.

    The plug for the bathroom basin did not function as it should, and there was a bad crack in the side panel of the bath. On the day of departure we found that our room keys no longer functioned when we returned to our room after breakfast - long before the deadline of 10am. The lady on duty seemed to accept this as not unusual, and she revalidated our key without problem or fuss.

    "As already mentioned the location suited our needs.(i.e near to various places we wished to visit during our 4 day stay. Every assistance was given by various members of staff to our requests. It would have been helpful if we were advised at the outset that the hotel area included a caravan site of mobile homes. We appreciate however that it brings business into the Hotel." (3304519710)

    the location suited our requirements and the facilities provided were what we required. As already mentioned staff were helpful

    the sparesness of the accommodation. We had to have out TV changed. and even with the replacement reception of channels were not all satisfactory.

    The Hotel itself was very nice, beautiful from the outside, the staff were really lovely and extremely helpful

    The only things i disliked were the showers in the rooms, they were like a very light mist, but that was the only thing

    "The hotel room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and flexible. Even though we arrived just as dinner was ending they accommodated us with no trouble and the food was very nice. The facilities were good for children and the setting was very peaceful.     Nothing really. A minor quibble would be someone to bring the luggage up to the room when you arrive but this seems to be the same everywhere.

    It was clean and comfortable. All the staff were warm and friendly, The evening meal was varied and well presented. Breakfast was available at 06:00 in the morning-good.

    For a stop over it was a long way from anywhere. As a holiday stop it was good.

    "The swimming pool was lovely apart from the fact it was not really practical for small children as the pool was extremely deep both ends. It was nice that the pool was heated so that the baby could swim aswell. The view of the hotel was poor as we were facing a brick wall however the room itself was clean and well maintained, it would have been nice if there had been a mini fridge and perhaps biscuits on arrival. The receptionist was extrememly slow in seeing to us when we checked in. The fact that the hotel was next to a caravan site made the area particularly noisy and if we had known this before booking we probably wouldn't have booked this hotel, but this was not stated on any documentation. All in all the hotel was clean and tidy and the leisure facilities were good. The thing that let the hotel down was the breakfast, the noise and the fact you shared the hotel with all the people from the caravan Park." (3304532903)

    The Swimming pool was lovely, and the hotel room was decorated nicely

    The fact it was next to a caravan park, the noise of the guest returing at 3 o'clock in the morning. The breakfast in the morning was low quality and the lady serving looked as though she had been dragged out of bed.

We had the impression that staffing levels had been reduced to an absolute minimum. Perhaps not surprising for the level of business in November.     Staff were very friendly and very helpful. The room was very large. Huge bed and very clean and up to date. Lovely pool - the children really enjoyed it but I don't think the locals liked sharing it!
