    "A friendly smart hotel in the middle of town " (108260573)

    Although we had asked on booking form for one twin room we were given two doubles. However immediately reception found us a lovely large twin room and sent the key up to us. Staff as always very helpful. Great to have secure free parking.

    real character serving in the breakfast bar !

    a premium price of 159.00 and a Travelodge room - the TV remote didn't work, the bathroom was very basic, insufficient toiletries and tea/coffee - situated nearer a very noisy student union bar. when i booked the price didn't include breakfast, so i expected a half decent room, which i didn't get. managed to get breakfast in the end, but at the secomd time of asking, included in the price. felt really ripped off - will stick to travelodge in future a 100 pounds less.

    "The hotel was very convenient for the Thames Clipper boat service and for attending the O2 (the primary reason for our visit) and other Greenwich attractions. All in all, that covenience contributed to a great weekend." (107696384)

    Tiny double bed in the booked room was way too small for us, but staff immediately switched us to a twin-bedded room without any fuss. Excellent response.

    For the price, at least a Continental Breakfast should have been included. In the end, we paid for a full breakfast we didn't really need just because we had to have something. The meal was very nice - but that's not the point.

    I find this hotel to generally be of a very high standard and the staff are polite and professional. The rooms are lovely airy and the bathrooms are positively luxurious. I have stayed here before and will stay again

    the bathroom was showing signs of wear. The tiles were coming off the poorly fixed panel in the bathroom and the sealant by the bath panel (on the floor) was showing signs of blackening. The room was subject to the noise from the traffic in the high road, which meant I didn't sleep very well - double glazing might be useful! This may have been due to the filming at the university.

    Very convenient to the centre of Greenwich. Free, secure parking. Tea/coffee/biscuits were available in the room.

    Room was disappointing. Fourth floor room was very hot and only had a tiny window that opened at the top. The tv/satellite didn't work properly - dated system. Bed coverings were cheap. Price of room was excessive for the standard. Room needs upgrading to make it feel like you are getting value for money.

    The hotel was clean, orderly, had good free internet access. Staff were friendly, helpful. Breakfast was very nice.

    They seem to have a general problem with TVs! This was mentioned in reviews I read before going to the hotel, while we were there we heard other guests complaining about it, and we could only access channel 5 on our TV.

    Great location; very central in an interesting part of London. Excellent service at check in as we had requested the room be ready early and it was, at 8am. Great breakfasts. Free internet was greatly appreciated.

    Very helpful staff. Excellent food and service.

    Very difficult to identify entrance to Hotel and Parking facilites from public highway. I had to go round one-way system twice before taking a guess at entrance to car park. Television in room had very poor functionality. Unable to use remote contol for advertised functions.

    If arriving from the front then the hotel has the wow factor to impress. Nice comfortable bar area. All staff encountered were helpful and friendly. Great location.

    Maybe room was a bit cramped if you were too stay longer than a couple of nights. For a night or two is perfectly adequate.

    Generally good value for Greenwich. Internet and coffee/tea facilities are excellent and much appreciated.

    1) We booked double bedded accommodation but were given twin bedded arrangement. If I had known this in advance we would have stayed elsewhere. 2) Asking the front desk for instructions always yielded a terse response...no offer to trace on a map or give the list of bus/underground routing on a piece of paper. Extremely unfriendly for a visitor to the city. 3) With the exception of one front desk employee, most were generally quite abrupt and felt that I should not disturb them. Unfortunately I take that as a challenge.

    Beautiful location, perfect for visiting the Maritim Museum, Queen's Rooms, etc... Good internet connection if you have to keep working or sending e-mails...

    "It was a lovely hotel. Quiet. Brilliant location. Clean. Breakfast was excellent and fresh.The room size was generous and a lovely surprise." (107299004)

    The hotel was in such a beautiful building. It would have been nice to have had a little postcard or leaflet about it as a souvenir. Brilliant location for the Clipper boats.Wonderful size of room and breakfast.Breakfast didnt look tired. The fried eggs were fresh and the food was replenished and refreshed regularly.

    Needed more tea and coffee facilities. Not enough sachets. Would have been nice to have had the option of snacks later from room service as we only got from our concert at O2 to the hotel at 11.30.The generator was very loud.The heating could have been on for us as the room was cold when we got there. Needed more bedding available in the wardrobe as spares. We were tired and didnt read the leaflet about asking for more until the following morning which was a little late. A couple of blankets along with the already there spare pillows would have been ideal.

    breakfast times were good, good parking, close to lots of restaurants,

    taps needed cleaning in the bathroom, iron was not up to scratch, mirrow was dirty, cleaner should have lifted the toilet to see if it needed cleaning properly, windows did not close fully, shower leaked past the shower screen and on to the floor, had to keep moping it up with towels so stop flooding the bathroom floor, tv remote did not work unless you were within 1 meter of the tv, main lighting was poor, could have done with more wardrobe space,

    nice hotel, helpful staff, pleasant room, clean, breakfast was all in the price that was good, parking was free not hotels can say they have free parking in london. as we stayed in Grenwich it was very convenient to the local atractions atractions we will vist again, a big plus if its a nice day is the hotel is just infront of Grenwich park

    the room was very warm at night there was noting to cool us down.when we arrived to our roon in the night we the lights in the room didnt work we didnt mention it because it was late but it wasnt a biggie!
