    The menu at breakfast was excellent, and evening meals were to perfection. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Location of hotel was very easy to find and central to our needs.

    Minor niggle Poor mobile reception in the area, hence could not use my mobile or internet broadband for my laptop

    This style of hotel is far superior to the well intended but no less 'plastic' service and facilities provided by larger establishments, let alone chains. Much thought a effort has obviously gone into creating an environment which is stylish without inflicting the proprietors' tastes on their guests, thus its atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed. Needless to say, our room's facilities reflected this. Dining out with family on the evening of our visit (a very iffy curry!!!) did not permit us to sample main menues but, where breakfast gave good clues, nobody will be dissapointed in that respect. In short, our visit was most comfortable and great value.

    Nothing, once arrived; thus, only the delay on the junction between A34 and M4.
