    Clean, Quiet. Good access to where we were visiting.

    Toilet difficult to flush. No instructions on how to work electricity on mini kitchen.

    Everything was good as answered in the questionnaire above. The room was clean, bedding was clean and generally everything was in good working order. Hotel is well positioned for tube and bus journeys and also on Zone 1 travelcard which makes it easy to get around to all the touristy places.

    I booked a twin room and expected two items of crockery and cutlery but only received one set of each. we did inform one of the staff members on our first day but nothing was done about it. The kitchen area where we stored our bags was unkempt.

    Staff were courteous and helpful

    Electronic key not available so no elecrtricity in room. Checkin was in another building across a very busy street. It was not one minute from the tube. Stair carpets warn and dirty

    Great value for money in the heart of London, lovely warm room.

    Only complanit was the noise, someone had propped open a door in the hallway and although the front door was on a suspended closing arm, it still slammed.

    "Generally fine - but as mentioned the shower was dreadful and we wasted time trying to get it working to an accpetable level." (108020181)

    Location was fantastic and the kitchen facilities were useful to have. It was all very much as expected.

    The window couldn't be closed, the check in was a bit hassley when we had just arrived; forms to fill in and money to be payed and so on when we had just come off a plane. The shower was a disaster - too hot or freezing and very hard to get a decent temperature. The dials didn't match the reality.

    Minor things would have helped a lot...sponge for dishes with drycloth..I just used towels which cost you more. Internet wa down. No can opener. Needs screens for windows

    Hot water worked fine, and the room was quiet.

    Only plug-in heater electric heater for heat, room was small, nowhere to sit and write, and I'm not sure the bed was clean. Location is an hour and 1 tube change from the City.

    Near to the supermarket and other shop.

    The non smoking room. Kitchenette provided in the room but when we do cooking eventually will alarmed the smoke detector. I dont see the purpose of having both facilities in the room. Hope the management will look into this matter.

    "The price for eating in London is high, so that the room with basic cooking facitliies can save money. Moreover the hotel is very close to Earl's court station." (97080922)

    With two head stove, microwave, small refrigerator and sink. Very close to a very big supermarket tesco and the tube station.

    We booked triple room. The room is samll, may be the additional bed made no space for the chair of dinner table. Moreover, there is no lift.

    The bathroom was a good size and although the bedroom was cramped it was enough for my needs. The spacious bathroom made up for that. The kitchen unit was wqasted on me but it was good to have. TV needed an 8 inch height on it and a better location for the kettle and coffe making facilities but generally very good indeed

    "I would like to have known how small the room was because I would not have stayed there if I had known. Also that it was on the 5th floor and there was no lift. And that the credit card machine was apparently broken. Also that there was no bath. However the room was not expensive and is fairly near the tube, the room was also clean with clean bedding and was certainly not cold." (97230345)

    The small kitchenette was a good idea

    Extremely tiny room with no space to put anything, no chair or bedside table or anything. Hotel was not able to take cards so had to walk with luggage down to supermarket to withdraw cash to pay for the room before we could book in.

    "Ground floor room - dark, dingy and dirty. Furniture - old, grubby and in poor repair. Curtains filthy. Bedding poor quality and blanket looked dirty. I did not dare attempt to pull out the spare one. Kitchenette in a cupboard - fridge. clean but the rest dirty. Dining- room - accommodates 8 people uncomfortably and very grubby. Does not have the space, tablecloths and cleanliness shown in the advert. En- suite facilities adequate but dirty. No staff at hand until breakfast. Had to go across the road to register."     "The description bore no resemblance to the hotel - the rooms were a fire hazard being downstairs with cooking facilities.My friend's bathroom had tiles falling off the wall and half of the toilet missing. In my room the curtains were falling off the window and the shower was loose. The washbasin did not empty." (99482162)

    "There was no hot water on arrival. Fixed by late evening. There was no blinds or curtains on the bathroom window which was in the basement and the basement area could be accessed from the street by anyone. There was no shower curtain to contain the water in the bath while having a shower, water sprayed over toilet and floor. The whole bathroom was in a poor state of repair. It was impossible to access the bathroom from the sleeping area and vice versa while using the kitchenette as the doors caused an obstruction which concerned me about fire risks. The stairs down to the basement were also in a poor state of repair." (99755862)
