    Quiet and clean.

    Web site stated that breakfast was £5. At check in it was reported to be £7.50. Inconsistent.

    Evening meal was very good value with excellent waiters Breakfast was very good value but sevice non-existant.(used crockery not cleared away and had to ask all three mornings for a pot of tea whilst staff were standing around

    Most surprised that we had to carry our luggage to our room.Extraction fans ours and other peoples we could hear were very noisy

    Staff where always very helpful and the the food was excellent, The Hotel Manager was someone you could always approach to talk to.

    Entertainment on last night not so good. The splash with each short was a little bit high in price.

    "Somewhat spoiled by intolerably hot room. Hotel needs air conditioning in rooms as well as public areas." (108065018)

    Friendly staff, good service, reasonable food quality & availability.

    Room too cramped & lacked headroom, windows did not open very far hence due to hot weather the room became extreamly hot and could not be cooled by small fan provided.

    having been given the wrong best western by the organiser i found i had booked into blackpool and it should have been the glendower best western st annes. this was after 1oclock.phonlng blackpool they let me cancell with no penalty.i then booked into the glendower first class reception room excelent no complaints at all

    "Attentive and helpful staff made my stay stress free and I had free parking for the duration of my stay, which in Blackpool is becoming harder to find." (97836693)

    Room was freshly decorated and well laid out.The adjoining Jali (Indian) Restaurant was excellent,well decorated and good value.

    No real bad points but some public areas were shabby.

    "The hotel is well placed for visiting the illumination with plenty of off road parking. The tram stops outside going both ways and is a short trip up to Freeport shopping where all the designer outlet stores are. Breakfast is self service and there is plenty of choice. Being near the North Pier you ar still close enough to walk to the town center and all the attraction of the South Beach." (97685575)

    The sea-view room that we eventually ended up in was fine. Reasonably well equipped & furnished.

    The room that we were first given was dark and damp with visible patches of damp on three walls. Due to the apathy of the staff and lack of action to cure the problem we had to stay there for 2 nights.

    "We were very impressed with this hotel, we visited during a very busy period for Blackpool, yet the hotel always appeared peaceful and friendly, and although fully booked we didn't see many other guests. Our only complaint would be that we were not informed what time we could check in prior to arrival- but the staff were very helpful and let us store our bags in a function room." (97209834)

    the hotel was situated in a quieter area and seemed very friendly, our room was nicely decorated, cosy and also quiet.

    The bedroom was quite small, but it had a sea view and it really wasn't a problem.

    "Fourth visit to hotel always had enjoyable stay. Only draw back this visit was parking (disabled) may have to consider going at a quietier time. Overall excellent hotel." (97644772)

    Bright, clean and warm.Friendly staff.

    Disappointed they allowed non blue badge holders to use disabled spaces. The car park was extremely busy, but this is even more reason why able bodied persons should not use parking spaces for disabled people.

    Hotel was spotless - breakfast staff excellent and attentitve to customer needs

    No blinds on windows and when you closed the curtain lighting in the room was very poor. Rooms were very stuffy and decor very dated.

    The hotel staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, warm and very cosy and the location of the hotel was perfect, 10 mins walk to the centre of Blackpool.
