    "Other than the lack of hot water I was well aware as to what we would be getting, as have stayed a number of times. Staff always helpful. Breakfast good." (99651568)

    Comfortable, warm, quiet, TV remote that works unlike Travel Lodge where I have found a number that do not work. Also could take my small Yorkie.

    Hot water was cold water on the second day, so ended up with a cold shower.Did not bother to report it.

    It is very conveniently situated for the airport. Offers free transfer service to the airport.

    "For travellers with much luggage, the distance from the room meant several trips and a luggage cart would have been helpful. Perhaps there were Kleenexes, but we never found them. Toilet tissues are not so useful for some cleaning tasks. Hotel very good, clean and near restaurant, with helpful staff." (99860584)

    Location

    This is a bare bones hotel- oil company guys are shuffled in and out like cattle. Bathroom floor was steel, don't look for individual soap or shampoo. Lighting horrible. You really only want to be here to be close to the airport.

    "Although short we very much enjoyed our stay at the Speedbird Aberdeen. The accommodation was of a good standard, clean and comfortable with the added bonus of having a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful and the food served in the bar and restaurant was of a high standard. We will definately stay again. The Murray Family" (99554008)

    Everything was there to hand. Hairdryer, trouser press and the bedroom was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay. Have recommended your hotel to a workmate. She will be using your hotel infuture.

    It was clean and had all facilities necessary for an overnight stay.

    Toiletries such as shampoo, shower cap etc had to be purchased whereas most hotels provide same.

    Clean and inviting room, pleasant staff, easily accessed from the airport

    My room did not have any shower gel or hand soap, I did not find this out until I had started to shower, I always carry a small bar of soap so was able to continue, I reported it to reception later.

    "Hotel and staff excellent although lock broken on door. Unable to complete booking online, unsure why. Some confusion between booking service and hotel; was booked bed and breakfast via active hotels, hotel staff unaware of this and was charged for breakfasts. This has now been rectified. Although room overlooked airport runway, the noise from this was not intrusive, quite enjoyed watching the planes!! Good base from which to explore surrounding area." (99605617)

    Ease of parking and closeness to city. Although next to the airport there was no noise or disruption.

    Restaurant in a seperate building. A Second armchair would have been good for double occcupanncy.

    I found the room very very comfortable so much so that I had a really good night's rest. Lovely quiet corner and would request the same room again.

    Bus picking me at the airport and dropping me off at the airport with my luggage. I could go to town and there was a night porter working overnight.

    Nothing. Everything was perfect, maybe an improve system to and from town as the Aberdeen taxi service over the weekend is very busy.

    "I was extremely impressed by the pleasant and helpful attitude of the staff, especially the girls serving in the restaurant who went out of there way to make me, a single female traveller, comfortable in this hotel which is dominated by male guests. Would have appreciated an alarm clock as I did not receive my alarm call from reception and missed my breakfast. This was not entirely the fault of the staff as they kindly moved me to a smoking room when I requested this but failed to change the wake up call to different room!" (3305239938)

    "staff in reception very friendly. Breakfast - no meet and greet. Arrived at breakfast at 0945 by 1010 everything cleared away. Was not asked if I would like anything else from the buffet before clearing away. Had to locate my own table (then asked to move) as was already set for lunch. Had to locate sugar and milk for tea. Breakfast ordered was missing items. Young waitress, scruffy looked liked had been on the tiles night before. Various bracelets/jewellery - uniform standards???? Did not convey feeling of cleanliness. For rate, did not expect four star luxury but certainly did expect the bare minimum of customer service and cleanliness. Will not stay again or recommend."
